Unless you already had it and the vehicle was not synced up and the server sent you an OTA you already had? However, when that happens, the OTA usually fails to install. Idk, but that is very weird. I always thought 6.8.0 is what included the animations for lane change etc.

ok thanks. That makes sense. Was thinking that could be the reason. Sorry I tried doing some digging before hand but couldn’t find anything so I just asked. Didn’t want to waste anymore time digging around. Thanks for the input I appreciate it.
Stay tuned. I've found that Ford tends to roll out the updates about a week after the EA release, assuming there's not an issue.

If you have the time, the VIN on my '23 Premium AWD (built "11/23") is: 3FMTK3S5XPMB02670. At around 10:15 a.m. yesterday (6/10/2025), after driving only 1/2 mile out of my garage (to a pre-surgical med app't) the instrument cluster popped an alert that the motor had shut down, and I coasted to a stop. (See my thread start). I'd be grateful if you can see something. Still nothing back from the dealership service department. This is our only vehicle (traded-in a wonderful 2010 Ford Flex, and I've got appointments through the rest of the week....

Not sure.....your car did not report any codes that point towards what caused the issue. The codes it reported yesterday at 2:54pm are old stored codes. There were no hard faults reported to the cloud.

Thank you! In the absence of any response whatsoever from my [new] Ford dealership's Service Department after 6+ hours (after a couple progressively urgent voicemails into Service and text messages on their website by 9:00 a.m.), I'm getting more anxious. Not even the courtesy of a call back from a Service tech or a bot's acknowledgement that my request for help was received. I guess I'm lucky the car is back in the garage and I'm not stranded someplace. Telling my daughter, coming down to visit, to Uber from the airport late tonight (which is only 15 miles away) because I don't trust the car and/or my [new] Ford dealership's Service Department; which is evoking the feelings I had about my first Ford dealership's palpable disinterest....

Nice. Are you in the EAP? Other than the original post by OP, it's been relatively quiet for an update rollout.

Then I should get it sometime next week. Ford's algorithm seem to be "Did we send it to Mark? OK, wait five days then send it to Ken".
