The past couple of days I've been getting a seat belt monitoring fault. It's ranged from the rear seats to the driver's seat so I'm guessing there's a module that has a problem....anyone else had this come up yet?

Annoyingly when the driver's fault comes up it will disengage cruise control.

Bump...took the car in this morning. I was showing these codes.

Dealer is telling me it's the driver's seat belt that is the problem and they have ordered a replacement connector. I'm not sure why that would cause the SRS module to have problems...I'm skeptical. Anyone else had a similar issue?

Did you ever find a solution for this? I’m getting the rear belt monitor fault pop up every 5 minutes while driving. I’m still under warranty but don’t really have time to take it in for a few weeks if I don’t have to, but the alert is super annoying.

They had to replace the seat belt connector.

Hi there! I can look into your Mach-E's seat belt concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Mach-E's VIN?

Im getting the same issue. I've been getting an alert for the drivers side and rear seat. I've had the rear seat alert come up even though no one is in the back. Did anyone figure out what the problem was? Trying to figure this out since I'm just out of warranty.

In my case it was a rodent nibbiling on the wiring harness in the engine bay. I might get my car back tomorrow after nearly 3 weeks in the shop, and a $13K payment from my insurance company to the dealership. Originally took it in thinking it was a restraints module issue, and the restraints warranty (which is good for 5-years/60K miles) would take care of it.

Was it something you fixed or did the dealer have to fix it for you?

I came to this old thread when my 21 premium 4x had the same fault. The yellow airbag-like icon was lit in the instrument panel, and a big warning in the center of the screen popped up about 5 times in a 20 minute drive.
I took one more 5 minute drive later that day and the yellow airbag icon was on, but no fault message was displayed.
Once I got home, I fully extended each belt to the end and let it retract, and plugged and unplugged each belt into its latch a couple of times. Using a flashlight I could see that the right rear latch had some red fluff stuck in it (I suspect from my kids art projects, a 'cotton ball' about the size of a pea). I got a narrow metal pick and fished it out. Then I connected an ODB II reader and started the car. The yellow light was gone, and the OBD II reader showed no error codes stored.
I'm not sure if it was the extending/retracting/latching/unlatching or the fluff removal, but it seems all good now!

I had this problem. Turned out a rodent had eaten the wiring under my hood. $13K to fix. Thank god for comprehensive insurance.
