The GT seats are not leather...I'm not sure why anyone thinks ventilated seats in anything but a leather seat is necessary....they don't get hot and you don't get sticky...so I don't get it.
I do get hot in the GTPE seats. 250lb guy in AZ. Ended up with a sweaty lower back by the end of the test drive even with the air on 67 and preconditioned.

Question for '25 owners: Are the screen inputs still laggy, or did they update the chips/memory?
Still laggy, unfortunately.

Yeah, I don't have them side by side, but I don't think the center stack seemed much different. I didn't hear that the hardware for the APIM changed anyway, I would expect since they are moving to the Android system for other vehicles that there won't be any significant changes there again for Sync 4.

This is the VERY reason we are driving our 2025 Rally now; a bonus in my wife's eyes was the suspension improvements. I'm loving the 3.4 sec 0-60 and the white rally wheels and white interior touches.
The suspension in the '25 Premium is noticeably better than the '24 we took for an extended test drive. It also has the ventilated seats, which I really won't ever buy another car without them and I would have probably bought the GT over the Premium if it did have them. Hopefully the heat pump provides some real benefit this winter because the new frunk space is indeed tiny. We don't use our frunk for much, but we do use it. And the wife loves the Molten Magenta color. I'm not really a fan of red cars, but I really like the Magenta too. Glad we waited for the '25.

I think it is the 2027 model year that is supposed to be brand new, or at least a heavy refresh, of the Mach-E.

If the problems with your specific vehicle are solved and you would like another Mach-E and can realistically wait another 1.5 to 2 years, that would probably be the one to go for to see a lot of changes from 2021.
I just sold my 2021 first edition and bought a 2025 premium awd with extended battery, and i am feeling regretful. I loved my first mach-e but was motivated to lower my payment from $950 to $350 when ford started offering all the great lease deals, but in the end I chose the 2025 and only reduced my payment $300/month.
AC in the seats sounded good since I live where it’s hot in the summer, but they are not as useful as heated seats.
in 2025 ford changed the gearshift to the right stem on the steering wheel. I don’t like it at all. The dial was fine, and the stem feels poorly designed. Plus, I’m having a learning curve remembering that the wipers were moved to the left stem as a result, lol. I’ve gotten a couple of “invalid gear selection “ messages. What I really wish they would move is the hazards button. My dog steps on it all the time!
Anyhow, I never had any of the problems you’ve described, so that’s a bummer. Though I wish I would have kept my 2021, the Mach-E is still a great looking, great driving vehicle, and I love never having to stop for gas.

I love the ventilated seats. So nice on hot days. They also feel amazing blowing heat on cold days. It’s an absolute game changer imo.

No, ventilated seats suck air away from your body through the seat, not blow.
Interesting, I didn't realize that. I always thought that they blew cold air through the perforations.

Either way, @Jay25X4P said the seats blow heat. That sounded odd to me, but I guess not too odd considering I previously thought ventilated seats blow cold air.?

Wait, the seats actually blow heat now?!
They feel like they blow, when searching for an answer there are sites that say that they suck the air in and sites that say they blow so I’m not 100% positive. When you have them on heat, there is a noticeable
amount of heat blowing in my opinion. I don’t know how it would feel like that if it was sucking air in. No matter what they work great in my opinion.
Wait, the seats actually blow heat now?!

The heating is just heating elements like any other heated seat. It doesn’t move air. You can’t even turn both heating and ventilation on at the same time.

AI can be great as long as you pay attention to where it has gathered its information. I only trust results after checking the resources it is using. Im not saying its always right. It may be wrong in this instance, but the resources seem to be legit. Im reporting how the seats seem to feel when using them. Ford did an awesome job of designing these seats no matter how they work. I would love to know definitively how they work. Please attach a link if you know where ford states how the seats work. Thank you so much.
