How to Prioritize multiple PAAK when they are within range of car

My wife and I both have PAAK on our iPHONEs. Often, then she has driven the car and we both are getting in, me driving to drop her off somewhere, the car will use her PAAK to activate. Then when she leaves the car alarm goes off saying no key is present.

Is there a way for me to "force" the car to accept my PAAK over her's?

The Mach E lacks ultra wideband bluetooth that would make it pick the phone that’s in or near the driver seat. Mine picks my wife’s profile (2nd profile) most often.

Mine seems to prioritize my wife's key fob over paak on my phone, but only if I open the trunk, close the trunk, car re-locks and I use paak to open the door, sets the seat to hers and almost crushes me. Terribly annoying. Her fob is inside hanging, car is in the garage.

We got the second FOB when Ford offered it. Only time we take a FOB is when we know we are going to valet the car.

It seems like a minor APP upgrade to add a capability to designate which PAAK should have priority when approaching the car. i.e. a button on the Fordpass screen.

Hummmm. Just had a thought. Has anyone tried using the door unlock button on the Fordpass app to see if that will prioritize the PAAK?

Forget that. Just use the key to start the car. The older the technology, the safer it is.

PaaK is supposed to know the difference between who gets in the driver door and who gets in other doors. However, that has never worked reliably.

Here's the best solution I've found:
One of you is saved in recall position 1 and the other position 2, right?

When you get in, look at the user icon. If it's wrong, press the appropriate recall button.

Doesn't work for us, no matter what we do the car always goes to her phone.

Assign each PaaK and key to a profile and assign each profile to a button on the driver's door. Then when you get in the car, push the button that corresponds to the desired profile. ??

If your key is the one that is usually the one not selected, just get in the car and start it with your key (whether it's PaaK or the regular key). Open your profile and make sure your physical key and your PaaK are both registered to your profile. set the seat, mirrors, HVAC, etc. how you want them. Once every setting is how you like it, press and hold one of the three numbered buttons on the door until you hear it beep. The next time you get in the car if the settings aren't yours, just press and release your button. ??
