Media reported the Senate determined the government didn't have a mechanism to collect the funds and it would cost more than $250 per EV to drop it.Thanks.
I usually burn a stack tires once a month as I do not want to decrease my carbon footprint. I am working on ice age prevention.Well, I just got an email from DOGE informing me that my MME is scheduled for repo this coming Monday. Apparently they slipped a provision in the final bill that all EVs will be seized and disposed of in the most environmentally unfriendly way possible: a massive bonfire. Even worse than what all those “progressives” did to the Teslas. Speaking of Tesla, apparently Elon is being deported now??? (He’s our hero again now, btw.) I mean, the bill doesn’t call him out by name but says that anybody from South Africa with at least 15 kids and a rocket company is subject to immediate deportation, so I’m just reading between the lines. As for the public chargers, they’ll henceforth be repurposed as public urinals. Seems excessive. Sad face.
Tomorrow. The bill will be signed tomorrow.A lot of bullshit did just become law.
That's the new minimum extra EV fee in Hawaii. The original federal proposal would have been in addition to state EV fees, not in lieu of. It was a punitive proposal, nothing more. Why have been paying that in Washington for the past 9 years? ?
Probably the least of American's concerns with this bill passage.Anyone know if the $250 EV penalty made it into the final version of the BB bill?
Can I get you some cheese to go with that wine?Well, I just got an email from DOGE informing me that my MME is scheduled for repo this coming Monday.
