I paid $410 to replace the 12V battery at the Glendale Ford dealership. It feels pretty expensive.

That's a little high, I would expect around $250 for a dealer to do it. The battery itself costs $130 MSRP.

I paid $130 for the battery and $30 for labor plus tax and recycle fee in expensive California. The dealership did not charge to 100% and reset the BMS, but this forum taught me how to the latter two tasks at home for free. Easy Peazy. You are facing either a steep price or a higher profit margin for the dealer.

I had mine replaced yesterday at the dealership for $148 - $13 for the core return, so $130 total. There was no charge for labor - maybe because they were doing some warranty work at the same time.

I just had my battery replaced by the dealership (after 3 years). Originally they said battery would cost $140, but because it was an AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat), it was $228, Plus $20 labor. So $248. Not sure why others are getting it for $140, but, good on you!
