The Rally package is an option on the GT. So, technically it's a Mustang Mach-E GT Rally (with or without the PU). 😁🐩
They definitely don’t look like they’re offering any incentive on that one?

Give them time. I bet they don't sell a lot of MMEs in Matarie, LA. 🤪🐩

Because encouraging car companies to use video game subscription tactics on a machine you own that contains everything needed to operate except for Ford's divine-grace permission that it should operate needs to die immediately.

Subscriptions to "enable" functions of a machine you bought and own can go deep up Ford's blue oval.
Not a subscription. One time purchase.

Side note...I went to Fairleigh Dickinson Rutherford 1 year, then three years in Teaneck. You are in a beautiful part of New Jersey.
Small world! Yeah, we recently came back from MD via 295 instead of the Turnpike. That part of the state is like a different planet to me. Bergen county where you went to school has some very beautiful areas as well!

So if the dealer happened to say over the phone, will let you have this yellow one for 48,000 would you be running down there to get it? That’s my question?

Probably not me specifically. But were I in the market for a Rally, yes. 🤷‍♂️🐩

According and I quote from our illustrious leader of the country, go ahead and finance that car you can deduct all that interest on your taxes next year it’s exactly what he said. So I guess it would make a difference zero interest or interest if he saying you can deduct it all he said all.

Except I have no interest in a Rally and I recently leased a GT. 🤪🐩

After 4 months of waiting on my special order, my GT arrived, and I somewhat sadly say goodbye to my 21 Premium which served me somewhat flawlessly. Other than the $100 battery self installed from Rock Auto, I never spent a dime on maintenance.

Will I miss some of the idiosyncrasies of my 21?. The ride is much better, especially since I bled some of the 49 psi that it was delivered with down to 42 psi on a 100 degree day. (Mexican air illegally brought over the border?)

Some facts and observations:

Even without the performance upgrade, I can feel the added torque., though the performance upgrade may be in my future.

I noted that the front doors are not popping open from the outside, but rather just release, forcing me to pull them open. Defect or change? The rears react like my 21.

Also, the GOM at 97% is initially showing nearly 300 miles of range. We shall see where that heads with the "normal" driving that killed the Michelins in 23,000 miles on my 21 at trade in time.

I negotiated $21,300 on my trade versus $21,000 from CarMax and $21,700 from Carvana, though indicated no damage, but my Ford dealer pointed out a severe door ding requiring possibly repainting the whole rear door. For simplicity, I took the dealer offer, which was still better than CarMax. My bet is that the trade in price has been somewhat depressed so that the deal can still make a reasonable profit while keeping the resale price under $25k to give the buyer a $4k rebate. That plan expires 9/30, so it will be interesting to see where future trade in value lands.

With the 3 year lease, there was a $6,000 rebate plus $500 in lieu of the charger program. Also two years of free maintenance (wow! tire rotations?) I kept my wet weather floor and cargo mats purchased after the fact for my 21 with FordPass points, and the no longer included cargo cover.

I am looking forward to the journey with the 25 GT, and hope it is as rewarding as my 21 was.

That's the first '25 GT I've seen that still has that smooth clear plastic cover. Mine (and the 4 or 5 others I've seen around) just has the honeycomb texture bare.

I had no idea. Is the covering supposed to be removed?

Thanks! Had it less than 24 hours and I am thrilled with it. Such a planted ride. Reminds me of my old ecoboost performance pack. Glad you’re enjoying yours as well. Are you getting the 11kWh charge rate from your EVSE? Have not seen it yet. The ‘21 premium had the HVBJB update applied and thus slowed the charge rate down…was expecting to get more out of the onboard charger and the ford EVSE on the newer model Mach e, but it’s a small thing really. Just curious.

I opted out of ordering the Ford charger, and kept the one from my 21. That one is brand new and never used, after the first one failed and was replaced under warranty. I was one of the lucky few that got one of the WallBox Fisker chargers that was liquidated in their bankruptcy for $250 plus tax and shipping.
