So it's a sad day tomorrow because I am trading in my Infinity Blue 2021 Premium ER AWD. But it's a happy day because I am getting a used MME GTPE in Dark Matter Grey. I attached a photo of my premium at a local car show and will update and add a photo once I have picked up the new car

I did go back and forth with the dealer on the trade-in. Used KBB values and would not take less than what KBB said. That being said the deal I got was unbelievable the GMC dealership underpriced the GTPE

It made for a busy weekend, put back in stock sway bars, stock wheels & tires, and remove hard-wired radar detector

Looked like the new to-me car was running 4.1.4 any tips on getting software updates forced through?

Seems like a lot of work to end up with basically the same car. Way too much effort for me, but I hope you enjoy it. Drive it in good health!

I did basically the same upgrade, except from a RWD to the GTPE, so even more of a difference. Only thing is in hindsight I also would have bought the GTPE used considering resale values as what they are.

I did a similar upgrade, but a Select AWD Standard Range for a GTPE. I really was in it for the enhanced 0-60, but getting a better interior, heated seats and steering wheel, pano roof, better suspension, Park Assist, Kick liftgate and BC really was awesome. I hope Ford makes the 5 second cut a little less drastic. Congrats @tuminatr !

Why? Need for speed? Smoother ride?
Did you have a lot of issues with your ER AWD?

The suspension upgrade is the reason I want the car. The roads where are live are extremely bad. And having the additional power would be nice too

And yes I did have about every issue mentioned with my premium it was in for warranty work 12 times. The last was a HVBJB earlier this year. Since the HVBJB failure its been flawless.

Charge the 12V battery. Set the update schedule for a time when you will be in good AT&T signal territory and the 12v is over 80%. 😊🐩

Or bribe someone with an FDRS rig to update your new car with doughnuts. 😎🐩
