I tracked mine all the way to the rail yard it now sits in with an ‘On Hold’ status. Yesterday Ford hit me up with this email, but no details on why the delay. The rail car it was on already departed, according to NS. The status was never on hold until it arrived, as far as I can tell.

Quality Hold? Maybe it got damaged in transit?

It just says ‘on hold,’ so it could be anything from a lack of trucking to a dead 12V battery; there’s no way of knowing.

Palsapp says it was delivered to Kansas City to the argentine ramp on 11/29. The final destination is San Mateo, California. My delivery window was 12/29-1/4, so fingers crossed for a 2021 delivery!

This maybe has been covered but I’m struggling to find it. If palsapp shows “pending” and my dealer isn’t giving me any info, how can I find out if my GTPE has left Mexico on a train (window sticker shows “rail”)? My build date was 12/01 and the “shipped” email came 12/04, but my estimated delivery (NY) isn’t until 01/23/22. I saw the CSX tracking instructions, but don’t have any info to put in the automated system without the dealer providing it?

Also, I went through the activation in FordPass, but it’s also pending waiting for someone to accept in the car.

I think the only way to get meaningful data like that is from the dealer's vehicle visibility report (VVR). They should be willing to show it to you. It would have a railcar # at some point out of Mexico.
