I'm not sure if you all have wondered like I have about what happens.....does it shut off? Die on the spot?
I took my 24 Premium X to 0% battery and 2km range. Of course I got the yellow turtle earlier and acceleration was gradual. Red turtle came on. What was scary is that as I was driving around my area to see what happens I came across a scary moment. I was crossing highway on coming traffic and it started to crawl instead of accelerate. This was scary as I mentioned was crossing 2 lanes of oncoming highway traffic. I chickened out to run it to 0 km after that.
Has anyone ran it the 0 km or miles range?

Yes red turtle is no joke, you had better not pull out if anyone is coming in the next mile. A bicycle can accelerate faster.

Risk of severe crippling power limits should cause you to never want to go to 0% unless it’s an emergency and you can drive at a crawl.

Why… would you do this test… anywhere near highway traffic?

I don't know if the 0% displayed is harming the battery. It certainly isn't 0% in reality. Just like displayed 100% isn't 100%.

I'm not saying that I would do it. ?

But for recalibration purposes, taking it to the fake bottom and charging it to the fake top is the layman's best opportunity for an accurate calibration.

I’ve taken mine down to 1% (on a road trip back to my garage, my algebra told me I’d jussst make it). Never even saw the yellow turtle.
I’ve been beyond 0 (drove 5 miles more) never had any turtles.

I recall someone posting about how they didn't trust that the collision avoidance technology would work, so they stacked up stuff and then drove into it.

I have driven to 1%, not intentionally.

My son's vehicle had a broken gas gauge. It was explained to him that running dry isn't good for the fuel pump. We figured out a safe range, and posted it on the dash. He had a trip odometer displaying mileage since last fill.

He then ran it dry, TWICE. I setup an appointment for a new fuel pump and he paid for it. Costly lesson.
