FYI. Got built email for 3/19. Modules for GTPE have now gone from 1006 to 1814
Yeah, my Premium Extended RWD went from 978 to 1786.

How do you determine the modules? I can see the raw data, but I do not know what it means. Do I need to get the Forscan program?

Awesome...what build group number is your car? I had 1004 and went to 1812...and have a fully loaded GTPE (curious why your car has two additional modules). My car is in build group 3565 and I got the build is done e-mail on 3/18. My car went from 1004 on Feb 10 to 1812 on Feb 15...and then it sat in "Chip Hold" until the 18th. It was brought back into the factory, the chip was added and then the car was done. FYI: There were NO changes to the module count or programming since Feb 15th.

I have no idea what the modules do (but I have deduced some of the modules uses only on AWD cars vs RWD vehicles). I have just downloaded the module address and the instructions, but I have no way of decoding the instructions. I am just looking at raw module quantities and comparing it to when my car was first built, plus other cars sitting on the showroom.

What program are you using to open the download file from the Ford service site?

Typically Text Edit on a Mac or Microsoft Word or Excel, or I just copy the info from the page and paste it into Excel:

https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt/

I use compare two different documents in Word to see what has changed.
Thanks. Text file is freaky. Still don't know how to count the number of modules, though. Is that something you just do buy copying it into Excel? Sorry, I'm an idiot.

Mine also went to 1786 earlier this month... (Premium Extended RWD)

If memory serves, 1786 is also the year I ordered the car?

Tomaeto/Tomaatoe I'd bet... I'll bet he's counting the two extra lines of data at the end while you are only counting the actual modules?

From the: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt/

page I get a page that looks like this:

Ford Mustang Mach-E 01/03/22 Build Week Chat Screen Shot 2022-03-21 at 8.51.25 PM

From the line starting with 6F0-01-01 and across the three lines of instructions I copy from there down and then paste it into a spreadsheet. Then count the rows.

As I said, I don't know what those modules are but I have seen one module change instruction programming in the first week when the car was built in January. Then I saw the number of modules change between Feb 10 and 15...and then no changes since including when I got my final chip installed on the 18th. So the missing chip was not a full missing module.

I downloaded the .ab file, opened it up in a text editor on Linux, added a CR at the end of each </DATA> entry. I then ran the file through “wc -l” to count the number of lines. I have no idea what the actual numbers mean.

I've tried to get a login for Palsapp and United Road to track our Mach E...but can't see how to do it. Anyone know how? My dates ping ponged a few times but now my Premium Ext AWD has shipped and should be here 4/4 to 4/10. My luck....we are out of town those dates, so will get it after the 4th.
When did it ship? It takes around 10 days to get to KC MO. Then it gets trucked to a rail yard in KC KS (only bit of info that showed up on Palsapp for me.) Then railed to the PNW. Shipping times are not the same for everyone but my Mach shipped on Feb 7th and left KC on March 9th. No rail tracking available but it should be in Seattle by now and if lucky on a barge heading for Alaska. I would estimate, based on my experience, that the quickest it could reach you would be 20 days after the shipped date but 30 days may be more realistic.

I just copied and pasted into Excel. Scroll to the bottom and there's your number of records. Each time I ran it. I just added a new sheet and dated it for the date I ran it.
