My delivery just changed to May 31 to June 6. It is good to hear from you all getting your cars - please post pictures and stories.

Yeah, mine just updated to a May 20th to May 26th time frame. Originally it was April 27th to May 3rd. I am sad.

Got an email last night, stating delivery has been pushed back to mid-June. The original delivery was mid-February, and the final update was delivery by tomorrow, and now ford chat said there's a "delay - plant hold". The car is at Norfolk Southern in Kansas City. Unbelievable to say the least.

I have had a couple false alarm e-mails from ford.com.

Once I had a notice that the car shipped, and then less than one hour later a notice that the car was scheduled to be built.

Got an email last night, stating delivery has been pushed back to mid-June. The original delivery was mid-February, and the final update was delivery by tomorrow, and now ford chat said there's a "delay - plant hold". The car is at Norfolk Southern in Kansas City. Unbelievable to say the least.

I figured it out! Due to COVID precautions, they have spread out “bring your kid to work days”, part of which is “allow your child to randomly push buttons on the Customer Communications and Updates keyboard.”

I’m gonna get whiplash but IT’S HERE!!! Going to pick it up this afternoon!!

Seriously ignore the delay emails. A week ago we got an email pushing it to 5/23.

Yeah I just chatted with them, they said there's a delay due to plant hold and the new delivery is by 6/12.

I don’t fully remember the details but I thought I saw some folks involved in the Alliance Fairfax/port of Jacksonville saga that had a “plant hold”, but then it ended up arriving not long after. Maybe search plant hold. Good luck!

I volunteer at a school and remember the teacher saying if your mother doesn’t work outside home doesn’t mean she doesn’t work. Spend a day with her!!

While it's disconcerting to see/hear, the VVR seems to be fairly unreliable. Here is an example of somebody receiving the "plant hold" status and then the car arrived at the dealer 3 days later. Hoping for the best for you!

Just got the call. It is here a week early. I pick up tomorrow.

Forgive me, because I know these types of questions have been asked before, but I want to make sure my info is up to date.

1. I asked about the price protection and my dealer said he would have to check because Ford doesn’t always provide price protection on every model. My understanding is that all of us who ordered 2021 Mach-Es should be getting price protection. Can someone please let me know if I’m wrong about that?

2. I intend to have the car for a while, so based on prior posts I am probably going to get the Ford extended warranty. There’s been a bunch of different recommendations here about where to get it. Does anyone have recent information on what kind of price I should be looking for?

3. If they offer me any other packages, has anyone found anything that was worth it? I assume that most kinds of paint protection packages offered by the dealer or garbage, but I saw a couple of people, that they got wheel protection and that type of thing. Welcome everyone’s thoughts.

4. Any other input or suggestions with regard to possible extras would be appreciated. I think my default plan is nothing other than the extended warranty unless there’s some thing I don’t know about.

Need a little quick help. Good news is my Mach E arrived last night at the dealership and I'm trying to pay for it today/Saturday. I remember getting an email for a $750 credit to convert from 2021 to 2022 but can't seem to find it. Looks like my dealer needs that. Did everyone get that at conversion? Will find out if they honor my 10/6/21 price in a little while. Thanks for the help

Call Ford customer service and they can give it to you. I got my certificate code that way.
