I want to believe that the dealer is correct. When asked for the VVR, he replied via email that he'd get back to me. After another prodding email from me he responded with the statement that it was on a train to California with estimated delivery of 7 February. Insists that he got that info from Ford.I tend to believe the dealer if they are reading off of VVR. If possible, try to get the rail car# or the whole copy of VVR, so you can track yourself.
Now when I called Ford customer service, they seemed responsive. Put me on hold for a couple of minutes to look up the order and get that status. Did she really look it up, or did she just go get a cup of coffee? I'll never know. Yesterday her info seemed more consistent with what I saw online. Today? I dunno.
