I'm not sure what the rhyme or reason is... mine was built on 1/13 and was in a batch that currently has others on chip hold. The only guess I have is certain dealers get prioritized. I'm buying from a big dealer in a major metropolitan area, so perhaps they got priority? Who knows... I'm happy I'll have the car in hand soon, and I wish everyone else a speedy trip out of chip-hold land.It looks like whatever was assembled on the first day of 22 slipped through

Not using x-plan, however, I am trying to use Ford Options to get the $2.5k incentive + price protection. Will let you know how it goes. Please update on rear kick gate, acoustic window after you get it since you maybe one of the first few 2022s. Updates on price protections/x-plan (if you're using) on ordered invoice would be helpful for others here too.
Good luck on your early delivery.
My guess that your car is travelling by rail to Louisville (after arriving in KC at some point) and the trucker has been alerted to this. A short truck transit then.Keep refreshing PALSapp, but no change:![]()
Unclear why it is showing Louisville, which should be 'Destination' as 'Origin'. I thought car would only show up in PALSapp after it completed rail transit and was transferred to trucking.
When I checked the Ford Order Tracking site, it has moved my estimated delivery date from 2/4/2022 to 3/6/2022. Contacted the dealer (again) yesterday, and, as usual, he was completely useless.
If Penzey's Spices can give me up to the minute tracking on a jar of chili seasoning I ordered, why can't Ford provide accurate, accessible tracking information on a $60k car? Customer accessible order tracking is a worldwide industry standard. MME buyers have been complaining about Ford's failure to provide even this minimal service since 2020. It's not as if Ford would have to develop the software.
Original order placed 7/10/2021, changed (by Ford) to MY 2022 on 9/27/2021. Built week of 1/3/2022, Batch 3316 279/540. Had hoped car would be here within original delivery estimate of 2/4/2022 to 2/10/2022, but now see I was being wildly optimistic.
So rail from KC to Louisville has added an additional 4 weeks to shipping? Ford just changed my estimated delivery from 2/4/2022 to 3/6/2022 today. I understand it's all just looking at random bits of information, and trying to piece together an estimated delivery date. If this was 1980, that might be acceptable. My guess that your car is travelling by rail to Louisville (after arriving in KC at some point) and the trucker has been alerted to this. My build week was 1/3/22. Checked progress on Ford website a few weeks ago, and it indicated a 2/6/22 delivery date. Checked status today, and delivery day bumped to May 5th! I've ordered a GT PE with Blue Cruise. I guess I'll just be patient.I know, it's bloody next year. But suddenly today is December and MY22 first build week doesn't look that far away. But delivery in, say, mid-February still looks far away.
I tend to believe the dealer if they are reading off of VVR. If possible, try to get the rail car# or the whole copy of VVR, so you can track yourself.Any thoughts on this? Original order 4 June 2021, 003372 460/630. Dealer insisted a few days ago that it is on a train to California, Ford customer service said yesterday it is in Cuautitlan on microchip hold, palsapp still shows status of pending, ford vehicle tracker status now shown as being shipped with the build circle checked but no built date shown, no email received, estimated delivery 30 May.
