Still at the dealer but hands free liftgate doesn’t work. Price protection works but not with x plan pricing because x plan pricing is based on the newest MSRP which is about $1000. So I only used price protection without x plan

question... is price protection $2000? If so... does it stack with the $750 coupon Ford sent us?

I just posted my driver's window pic in the Hands-Free Lift Gate Delete thread because a possible acoustic glass delete was hotly discussed based on the order guides and window stickers ... but no 2022 car windows to compare with 2021 car windows. Readers of this thread might want to jump over to that thread and see how the debate continues or is finally settled.

Someone has already posted that their 2021 GTPE window has the exact same driver's glass as my 2022 GT. Maybe others will post pics of their Premium, GT and GTPE windows .. keep watching that thread!

For those of you who've been waiting for your 2022 MME or who's thinking about giving up, IT'S REALLY WORTH THE WAIT. (I know i've only waited less than 5 months, but still..) Hang in there.

haven't gotten coal rolled yet, but has been getting plenty of thumbs up in the DC area today even from a few tesla drivers.

Things I brought to the dealer in addition to the usual stuff like driver's license and insurance:

screen shot of price before price increase ($56,900, so glad I took a screenshot), receipt of $500, $750 email printout and x-plan pin/certificate. But as I said previously, I didn't end up using x-plan because its 2% discount is based on the most recent MSRP and they don't do both x-plan and price protection together.

I took screenshots of X-plan for 2021 models and comparing with MSRP w/x-plan for 2022 BEFORE the Dec. increase, the $750 is less benefit than the X-plan price in 2021. (About $427 more than a 2021 X-plan price).

it was based on $56,900 pre-december. X-plan would be 2% of $58,900 = $1,178. So I went with price protection. I tried playing ignorant to double dip but no…

The msrp price and x-plan discount on my 2022 GT we're locked when I ordered it over the phone with the dealership's Internet Sales rep on 10/1/2021. A $500 refundable deposit. Ford accepted the order while I was still on the phone with the rep. I signed a form last night for the dealer to get $2000 back from Ford (was that the 'price protection'?) because a post-December GT optioned the same as mine is now $2000 more than the 10/1/21 price. So, I paid the 10/1/21 x-plan price and the dealer got $2000 from Ford for what he lost had he sold my car off the lot last night.

So glad to hear of someone actually receiving a 2022. Thank you for the encouragement. It is frustrating seeing people who have ordered later getting their cars while still waiting. From reading the forum I suspect I do not live in a big enough state and/or my dealer is not a high enough volume dealer to rate getting any sort of priority. Although I will say they have been very nice and as helpful as they can be. Getting hard to imagine the car actually ever being delivered. Have a word out with the Hyundai dealer if a Limited Ionic 5 arrives, and got a reservation for a Fisker Ocean that could theoretically be available in November. Still, what I would really love to have is the GTPE that I ordered 6 months ago. Thanks for keeping us up to date with your progress and letting us know that some cars are actually showing up. Enjoy the ride!

I can tell you that the GT is a wicked fun vehicle to drive!

I received an email from Ford just now saying my Mach-E has been built and expected delivery between Feb 15 -22 (to bay area). The ford tracking page is still showing in production status.
