The timing of the "in production" statuses indicates some production is scheduled this week. I note the status of "in production" doesn't mean they are wrenching on the line, but more likely opening up data records that are part of the lifecycle of eventual production. The appearance of window stickers will be more revealing of actual production.
I think it is in production only if there is a date under "In production" status of the tracker

Mine doesn't have a date under In Production. But I had my window sticker issued a couple weeks ago. Although now the window sticker is no there anymore
What a messy system they have put in place

I have build scheduled for the week of 01/03 as well. I can see modules populate in the Asbuilt link now. Ford tracking also shows in production with date 01/03/2022. No window sticker yet,

Not the rain on the parade but the most recent couple of pages in the 12/6 thread suggests there are still unfinished 21s plus a chip hold... so... not sure how this will impact this week's supposed start of the '22 production but it does seem like there could be some (more) delays.

This is just a theory, but, Chip production in worldwide factories probably continued until 12/24 or so, and in some countries may not have paused much at all over the last few weeks. If they were built, they were probably shipped.

In the meantime, it appears that production stopped at the factory for more than a week, so it's possible that during that week chips kept coming in from the manufacturers whether they were produced in December or November wouldn't matter - a Christmas slow down in chip production wouldn't hit the factory this fast.

The idea that the factory stopped building cars around the holidays but chip shipments probably kept going means that there may be some extra chips in the parts bin later this week to finish out those 21's and hopefully our first '22s.

By the way - I stumbled recently across a press release that suggests a Mach E can roll off the assembly line every three minutes (20 per hour):

https://fordauthority.com/2020/11/ford-mustang-mach-e-production-requires-loads-of-new-tech/

It didn't say how many hours/days/shifts it takes a car to move through the line but another source suggested that was about 20 hours (3 shifts).

By the way, I too am scheduled for the week of 1/3 and seeing all the same things you guys are reporting. Has anyone seen a thread wi more information on how many dast the build typically takes when the modules actually get populated etc?

I cannot point to specific threads, but I recall numerous references to it taking a day or two absent any gremlins. Aside from chip holds and recalls, it seems a significant driver of delays is post-production logistics, specifically shortages of drivers. I would love for Ford to have a program for picking up my Mustang at the factory, like the European programs by Mercedes et al.

I suspect based on what I've seen about delays and adjustments in KC that the stop there is a still vital part of the quality control process that neither Ford nor we would want skipped. One last look while the car is still in the hands of Ford Corporate is probably hard to let go of right now.

Yes, I believe I can drive home to Florida in less than the 42 day average for Florida deliveries.

Is the website overloaded or is something happening? Now when I log onto ford.com it says I have no reservations and is constantly trying to load, then it says no reservations then trys to load again Go to loop. Is the ordering of F150 electric over taking the website?

From a couple of forums, looks to be that way.

I was just able to log back in, but there are still no updates for me.

Given the factory is basically in Mexico City, I'll be skipping that drive.

Then again, if we get enough new owners in a convoy, heavily armed and not in a good mood after waiting 7-9 months, we might destroy 3 Cartels with a Mad Max mindset before crossing the Rio Grande at Brownsville TX. ;)

Yeah. Waiting is probably a slightly better option......

Checked the status and it showed an “In Production” date of 01/04/2022 late last night. This morning it shows an “Estimated Delivery Date“ of 01/29/2022. Still no window sticker, but when I checked the modules screen it populated. ?
