Interestingly enough, it *does not* show up on Ford.com's inventory website. There is a 2022 GT (not my car) that is "dealer ordered" on Ford.com, but mine is not to be found on that site. To be clear, my car *is* showing up on their dealer-specific website.

@ponydsp and I have chronicalled over the past week our MMEs arriving in KC and moving eastward on NSouthern. I suggest you look back through our threads. VOLTZ is the name of the NSouthern automobile transfer yard in northeast KC. Your VVR will now have a railcar number for a NSouthern railcar. @ponydsp summerized how to use the NSouthern customer service system.

Yes, dealers are putting on their websites incoming (not yet on the lot) MMEs and other vehicles. If the website provides a window sticker for your MME it'll say Special Order along the bottom. The website text might say "pending arrival" or "off-site inventory". They're not actively selling or proposing to sell YOUR car but people will call the dealership about it, then be told "That's a customer special order car, it's not here yet. Can we interest you in what we do have ...?"

..I will get mine next week, ordered last week. (GT PE Cyber Orange, Panorama)

They had one standing for display only that I took, so the delivery was fast for that reason. (Europe)

Has anyone actually gotten their car yet? Supposedly, mine is going to arrive at the dealership tomorrow, but was wondering if anyone else's came in early

I looked up some of the cars on the same initial shipment as mine and at least one was delivered in GA.

United Road tracking just changed my MME from inactive to pending pickup, but no estimated delivery date, yet. getting so close...

I'm just waiting for my est delivery date to change and get the word it's on a chip hold too . It's been " in production" for a month and no built or shipping dates.

Well I got my date change today! It's now estimating 5/20/2022 delivery date. Still no official chip hold notification though. Communication is definitely lacking.

Am I correct in assuming that if the car is actually being listed on the dealer's website that it's likely on the lot?

I've contacted a couple of dealers in Orange County, CA regarding their online advertised MME. Apparently, it is their common practice to online advertise specific VIN MME, including those "in transit" and those yet to be built "coming soon". For those in transit, I've been told they are already obligated and, therefore, not for sale to me. So, my experience is that your assumption is not likely to be correct and that you should contact the dealership.
