My 1999 XJ8's starter didn't dis-engage in July and the car caught on fire...then 2 weeks ago my F250 was stolen for the second time this year. First time it came back in 4 days without a Catalytic Converter, this time still missing. Now a year to get a Mach E and my condo association told me I can only have 20amp/120V charging until at least Aug/Sept but no promises......so not a good automobile karma for us since last April. Hopefully our lucks turns around when our Pony shows up!
Good luck!

Good things with EVs is no catalytic converter to steal nor gas to steal. Seeing these gas reports more often now:

Gas thieves hitting more cars in Las Vegas Valley

Thanks....with gas prices soaring the case for EV's is even better, especially in the PNW where the price of electricity is so low!

Juneeeee 2nd. Very grump.
Ordered 4 June 2021, expected delivery 30 May 2022. 360 days.

Dealer has assured me no ADM for special orders, but I still fear surprises that might leave me empty-handed after a year. :(

I keep finding dealers to not be charging ADM on custom orders. I think they are a bit afraid to do it on them, and much more comfortable if it's just inventory in the lot.

Hoping the best regardless! ?

I think that the custom order ADM surprise was more of a problem a few months ago, before Ford started making noise about reducing allocations. Yet from these forums I see it still happens to some.

Yeah. I think they got a little afraid but some just don't give a crap at all. It's really gross.

I ordered mine 7/31/2021. No updates on the Ford.com site (shows "In Production/In Progress" as status with the "Scheduled for Production" week as 1/3). The Ford Order Tracking website now shows estimated delivery as 5/25 (it's been bumped a couple of times). Modules show active, dealer says it's either on a chip hold or waiting for transportation. In the upper right corner of your window sticker, to the left of the VIN, there's a batch number showing how many vehicles being produced in that batch and where your vehicle is within that group (mine: 003316 297/540). If you read through this thread, you can learn more about that and get an idea of where others are around you with their orders. You may be in the same batch as me based on when you ordered. If I'm not mistaken, without reading through it again, I think some folks in the first 200 of this batch have received, or are in the process of receiving their MME.
Mine is Batch 003316 279/540. It has been parked in KC railyard since 1/29/2022; don't know if it's waiting for shipping, or the dreaded chip hold :(

Mine arrived at KC around the same time. About a week ago it hit Port Wilmington, Delaware, and now it is basically chilling there until United Roads decides to load it up and ship it out. Supposedly it's supposed to be delivered today, but once again looking like that won't happen.

Sadly, I think there are huge problems in the logistics chain for anything involving freight shipping. This sort of delay is normal, I don't think they have your car on chip hold. I did some digging into MachE's that were actually sold, and a 1 month wait in KC is pretty par for the course.

Thanks. That is actually reassuring. I talked to the dealership yesterday and they could only confirm it is still in KC and hasn't been assigned to a Norfolk Southern railcar for the last leg of the trip. Ford site still has estimated delivery date as 3/6/2022, so fingers crossed.

Yep, exact same thing happened to me and drove me up the wall. I think you're fine, just be prepared for a sweet wait for the freight shipping to take its course.

I actually don't think it's Ford's fault (though a good company takes responsibility for it and finds a way to fix it). I think the shipping companies just don't have enough drivers/conductors to meet their deadlines.

That's great that it's at least en route, even if it's stuck (for a while) in KC. Last I spoke to my dealer, he seemed to think mine was still at the plant. He didn't know if it was a chip hold or a transportation/shipping issue. My estimated delivery date still shows 5/25.

Have been led to believe that vehicles on chip hold are parked in/near Cuautitlan. If it shipped to KC, it is probably a complete vehicle.

ok... got a real update here. Just confirmed with UnitedRoads that my car has left Port Wilmington, DE and is en-route to the dealership. Should be there by the end of today.

Last step... the dealership. Hopefully it'll be a smooth process. Not sure what all they have to do to prep the car for purchase, but I'm hoping I can pick it up either tomorrow or Saturday.

What a journey! I feel I'm on round 12 of a boxing match!
