For whatever it is worth (probably not much) to those of us still waiting for our built car to ship, my dealer indicates that the issue may be related to low rail car supply relative to the demand from the backup related to the chip hold. But that is probably his speculation to keep me off his back as much as anything else

Even if so, why aren't ours getting on those trains before the others.

I have no inside information here...but this is my speculation:

I do think it is kind of a first in/last out situation, however, I have not been able to figure out a pattern.

I think with this chip hold situation they had never planned to have this many cars built, yet incomplete and unable to ship and I suspect that cars are parked in tight in very long rows like at a concert or game and when it is time to get out, no-one who is parked in the back can leave until each car row that is parked in-front of them clears completely out of the way.

I don't like it either...I am just guessing that is what is happening. It seems cars built way after our cars are shipping. My guess is the only thing that I can think of that makes sense (as much as any of this makes sense that is).

Congrats! I see you're in Florida. Do you know if it's shipped by train to KC or by ship to Jacksonville?
No idea, but my palsapp shows a pickup on the BOL in Jacksonville...though i dont know why that means it would be by ship?

Had you been tracking your car from Kansas City?

Note that I just got the Shipped email from Ford this morning that reconfirms the mid April delivery. I had been checking that reqbin site (search 'reqbin' if you are not familiar with it) but the status there never changed from ASN so this was a pleasant surprise that the dates seem to still be accurate. I'm not going to track it any further and wait for the email from my dealer. Hopefully smooth sailing from here on out! Will give an update on the final purchase process later this month.

Also got a shipped email this morning. Both my ford page and the ford order tracking show shipped, and the estimated delivery date has stayed the same of the last week of April to May. Going to Walnut Creek, CA.

Batch 3396, 241/303, Space White Premium, AWD, Extended.

Happy for you, yet also extremely frustrated.

Your built confirmation was an entire week after mine, yet I just confirmed it's still sitting in Mexico. So again, someone who gets built later, gets shipped earlier.

Again. Super happy for you. We're all going through hell with this. But this entire prioritization of backlog is complete and utter BS.

Mine was built 3/5 and still sits there. I ordered last May.

I'm right there with you...Ordered 6/5/21 and built 3/14/22. ETA is now 5/28/22... So ridiculous from Ford...it will be 51 weeks if that date holds... 3396 129/303
