After an 8 months wait finally got it home. It feels great, drives great and looks great. Just need to figure out how everything works and get everything programmed to my liking. The dealer experience went well. Bought from Geweke Ford in Yuba City. They offered the price protection without an issue. That’s after I brought it to there attention a few weeks back. Also got the 750. rebate for the model year change. They participate in the Calif clean air program so I got that 750. credit from the state of Calif. I did go with the option program and they honored the $2500. incentive in place at time of order instead of the current $2000. incentive. They said the rate at time of order was 2.70%. I thought it was 2.49% but I decided not to argue with them as I’m planning on payed it off anyways. All in all everything went fairly well and I’m a happy camper. I’m thankful for this forum because if I hadn’t joined I would not have been aware of the price protection and the option incentives at time of order. As I learned from this forum, hit up your dealer before delivery regarding price protection and incentives

Ordered 8/31/21. Confirmed 9/27/21. Build week of 1/31/22, on chip hold, Built date 3/16/22 and shipped 3/22/22. Delivered 4/29/22 right at 8 mths. Dealer did nothing special. My sales guy just took delivery of a new MME the day before so he knew how things worked. I'm sure they went in Smart Vincent and pulled the order date and delivery date incentives and rates. On order date the option program had a $2500. incentive and on delivery there was a $2000. incentive. Pretty simple process.

Palsapp jumped from picked to delivered last night. In Muncie after 8 days post IFG unload at Richards-Gebaur. I will give it a couple of days then check status again via chat.

It has now been 332 days since order, and 5084 days since I purchased my current ride ('08 Escape Hybrid 2WD bought new the first time gas in California hit $4/gallon). I am beyond ready for new wheels.

Chat over the weekend showed it as in Muncie, but provided a rail car. Now able to track via Union Pacific; departed Muncie yesterday and is scheduled to arrive in Mira Loma on Friday.

Any thoughts as to how long after arrival in Mira Loma before arrival at dealer about 30 miles away?

Excellent news that it is CA bound and due. I wish I had first hand knowledge of time to dealer, but appreciate your posting updates.

That’s great news!

No, updates from the dealer. My sales person said he will only update me If there is any update to report. Last update from dealer was like a month ago, which was to tell me ETA which I already knew before hand. Tomorrow 4/28 is last day of my original estimate. So it doesn’t look like it’s coming tomorrow for another 2+ weeks.

Let me know how your process go tomorrow with price protection and credit for switch from 2022 from 2021. Not sure if you will be doing options for finance to take advantage of $2000 incentive?

No options, not planning to finance it.

Just an update, love love the car!
Dealer honored price protection, took x-plan, and added the $750 credit. Opted for the ford extended warranty, about $3300 for 10 years / 100K miles, bumper to bumper. Figured with these being new that I will want to service at the dealer exclusively, so it was probably a good investment.

Picked the car up on Friday and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! The space white color is beautiful in person and shifts depending on the light. Maybe the long wait has me extra hyped up but it's the most fun to drive of any car that I've ever had. Granted, its competition consists of an Accord, a Mazda 3 and a CR-V so make of that what you will. But maybe it's better to say that it's the first car that I've been excited about at all. I've never really been a car person (is that blasphemy around here?) but this one has me thrilled!

Ordered 5/26/21, delivered 4/29/22. SHEESH. Almost but not quite record setting, eh?

Got a railcar number, it is currently in Conway, Pennsylvania! Seems that the delay emails should be disregarded, as I received one on 04/28 stating the car will be delivered in mid-june, and Ford chat today said that the car was shipped from KC on 04/29. They are still showing an end date of June 12th but I am expecting the car in New Jersey by this week based on its current location. Hopefully that plays out well.

My Mach E is on a BNSF train car on Union Pacific Railway. I don't know what railway you are using, so I only know the Union Pacific process.

I recommend you do NOT speak with anyone, but only use the automated system. Here is the process:

Tracked via Union Pacific phone line 1-800-877-5123.
Wait for prompt on language (1 for English)
Say “Trace”
Say 1 (number of units to trace)
Asks for rail car number. You must clearly enunciate B N S F before the number. (say it clear and quick because it will think you stopped if you go too slow).
Asks if you want a fax copy (say no)

The system gives you a loaded date and time (does update as it hits different rail yards as it moves but does not say the specific cities) and an estimated final delivery date to the final rail destination.

Well, I tried this for my railcar number, which is TTGX694885, and got bupkis...

You have to use the Norfolk Southern number for the TTGX cars. From the Trackers thread:

2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked

It was for financing with the Ford option program. It's a finance program that resembles a lease and has a balloon payment after 36 or 48 months. You can get on Ford.com finance page and learn about the different financing options.
