I picked up my Mach-e CA rte-1 last night at the Frontier Ford dealership at Santa clara. Called the dealer and reminded them about the Price protection and rebate, both of which were honored without drama. Now charging the car at an Electrified America fast charging network location nearby to take advantage of Ford's 250kw charging incentive. The drive is a bit bumpy for rear passengers but has been great so far - love the acceleration and got lot of heads turning to admire the car :)
I noticed while charging that the battery indicator showed 80% at 200 miles. The cars range is 312 miles so I expected that 80% would be hit around the 250 mile charge mark. Has anybody had a similar observation?

Lastly I hope everybody else waiting on their deliveries get them soon! I love this supportive community!

Yay! So happy to hear you had a good experience with Frontier Ford. I ordered through this dealership as well and had been reading some bad reviews in past threads.

My car has officially shipped, and I've been trying to reach out to them for updates, but they haven't been responsive. Did you have any communication from them or any luck when/if you reached out for updates?

Thanks in advance, and congrats!!

My Guess o meter also shows lower mileage. I am at about 248 miles at 100% charge. I reset it also but still no change.

I would say though that when I initially called a few months ago (when the car was supposed to be delivered), they pretended not to know about the Price Protection :) Before you go, I would call them upfront, make sure they honor the Price Protection and the $750 Ford rebate (which automatically comes up when they punch in the VIN), to avoid all the haggling.

Also to your comment, the sales guys at Frontier Ford are not responsive and I was unsuccessful in getting my car status/VVR except once in the last 6 months - they would always say they are busy and ask to call later. Don't want to be overly critical, but the honest trust is Frontier Ford is not the best dealer in the area and I wouldnt go with them again. I had a wonderful experience in Morgan Hill Ford when I bought my other car a few months ago - they don't charge premiums over MSRP as a policy and had the carpool stickers ready when I picked up the car.

Here's how you can track your vehicle (search this forum for more detailed info)
1. Ask for your railcar number on Ford chat (CA vehicles are usually dispatched by BNSF)
2. BNSF Tracking (see https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/bnsf-burlington-northern-santa-fe-rail-tracking.15402/). Make sure to buy him a beer over Venmo!
3. Wait patiently. The United Road tracking (unitedroad.com) did not work for me. Looks like Ford CA is using another trucking agency.

I hope you get your vehicle soon!

I saw a video that said it takes 200-1000 miles for the adjustment after a reset, which seems like a rather wide window, but the GOM may eventually adjust. I’ve decided to keep better track of odometer based miles driven and kWh added with respect to percent loaded per “fill up”. I am suspicious that the trip record isn’t 100% accurate on miles when I am in the car fooling around with learning settings and how I want to do things.

From my experience the car can be wildly off when it comes to the GOM. I have not reset mine, but I am logging every thing right now from the car and the charging. I am trying to figure out what it is really doing in terms of range and efficiency. More about it later...but yes, to me and my car for how we drive it appears to be super conservative in estimating range.

For example, yesterday I started my drive at 80% SOC. I drove 24.5 miles and used 9% of my battery. I recharged it back to 80% SOC during the night, but the car estimated I only added 16 miles of power. It varies, but it typically my car says will not drive as far as it actually does.

Your dealership is supposed to delivery it 100% filled up. If you have a charger at home, you should not use up your free hours.

Many, many threads on the GOM. Stop looking at it.

On the lucky side of things, no sooner had I posted my difficulties with the hands free Blue Cruise when it magically updated to the latest version of maps OTA and so should work now - haven’t had a chance to try it yet.
The exact same thing happened to me when I first got my MME. Blue Cruise is fine now for me.

I'm not sure what to do now when I'm disengaged from my Zoom meetings - I'd been compulsively checking this thread several times daily. Happy to give that up, but now I'll need to find the thread to help me find any Easter eggs in my MME.

It works now! I’m not sure how relaxed I am when it engages, but it works, and it’s really quite amazing.

Oh that’s a cool thought.
