I don’t see any updates in order track. I agree that he’s probably making the 5-6 weeks up. I do think he’s telling the truth about seeing it in his inventory, but I have no idea what that means about the status of the car. Definitely not fully built though.
Yeah, my dealer said all the same stuff about my 6103 batch car a week and a half ago. My dealer has been totally honest and transparent so I definitely don't think he's lying, but I also can't explain the disconnect where the car looks all good in his system and yet everything else I can see suggests the car isn't finished yet. Even if all the trackers are messed up for some reason, it's gotta have modules to be a functioning car.
The 5-6 weeks is the average shipping time most people are told. That makes sense if things are in fact going smoothly like the dealer portal is claiming.

I'll offer my impressions based on conversations that took place while I was waiting for my 2021 MME to be built and delivered:

Your activation won't actually work unless your car is powered "On" and there happens to be someone in your car at that moment who is willing to accept the activation request on the car's display. Without that, your effort will simply time out. But if your activation is successful, it will start the clock for the three years of Blue Cruse service that comes with the car. That would be a downside. On the positive side, it may give you access to occasionally see exactly where your car is during its transit in the US.

Anybody who has a different understanding is welcomed to jump in and correct me.
I have a select, so I dont think I get blue cruise anyways.

Batch 6103, 11/300, still no modules, no changes to my reservation page. I certainly won't complain if the Ford page updates later in the week to say that the car was built a week ago and shipped today, but I'm also not getting my hopes up. Still hoping to see the modules populate some time this week and ship either this week or the next...

I hope the dealers you're all referencing know what they're talking about and are receiving accurate information. If this forum has taught me anything, it's that the process on the back end is a lot more disorganized than it seems like it should be. I'll allow it to get my hopes up a bit, but I'm still working under the assumption that it's not accurate.

Almost fully correct. Timeout is something on the order of months, mine took like 3 weeks before a factory worker hit accept. The other downside is - as the vehicle leaves the factory it's hard reset and fuses are pulled. Which means fordpass loses activation and you can't track it during its journey which would really be the main reason to activate it in the first place.

I have a build date of 5/23 - Vin and window sticker Build 006074, batch 188/305. All the tracking sites show: in production. Where can I get more info on the build status?

Basically that's all you can do. I'm allow batch 6074 and still in production since 5/27. If you call Ford or the dealership, they might have a little more information. They told me that my call was built but hasn't been released for shipping yet. Just keep waiting.

There are two main ways we've been doing it here.

The first is to check if you have modules activated on this website. Have your VIN ready and enter the captcha code to see your vehicle's modules.

If you don't see anything listed, your modules are not activated. If you see over 1,000 modules activated (I think people usually download the Excel document and look at the row count to tell) then it's probably fully built. The exact module count depends on what trim of vehicle you've purchased, and if you scour the forums for the exact number, be aware that it has changed a bit with time. Some people have checked the website and caught their vehicle with only a few hundred modules, which means either partial activation or partial installation. Generally, it's thought that once all modules are activated, the vehicle is fully produced and will likely move on to the shipping stage.

The other option is to call your dealership and see if they have any further insights. In theory, the dealer should have the most detailed and most accurate information. We're having cases now where the dealership is giving different information than we'd usually infer from the module website. Not sure what to make of that.

I got some information by Chat on the Ford.com account - Blue Note has reached Laredo and my delivery timing is still holding for the week of June 19th! I'm happy! :)?:)?:)?

Batch 6074 49/305.

That's what blows my mind....I was in the same batch 84/305....35 cars later and I'm still in production...no cents

I think @Sealevel 's car shipped before mine. I'm in the same batch 17/305 and didn't get my shipping notification until a couple days ago. Since I'm out in Cali, my delivery date isn't until July 18-24th.

So I chatted with Ford.com today about why there’s a disconnect between my dealer saying my car is built and having an ETA and the website saying it’s still in production. They told me that my car went into production on the 18th, which is sooner than I thought, and they aren’t sure why the dealer is saying it’s built. They did say that it has an ETA of July 9th, and I’ll get a notification when it ships. Here’s hoping that ETA holds up

From whatI understand that’s what it looks like before you have the modules load. Once they load there will be tons of lines where the G is.
