I just checked. Looks like I'm good... I was In Production since 5/27 but the built date was a couple weeks afterwards

yeah it looks like the production start date is more likely to determine if you made the recall cutoff, and not the finish built date.

Very interested in what we may all face when our cars start arriving at dealers.
What will the dealer say was done to our cars for those of us not on the recall list?
Do we still need a software update before taking delivery?
Sorry to hear of some of our build week on the recall list. Hopefully, the dealers are getting all they need to be able to deliver all our cars quickly!

This build week (5/23) is the pivotal one. I wonder if the collective pain will unite folks, if we will have "5/24 reunions" every 5 years, where you all meet to share stories, like "My car was supposed to enter the production line at 3PM on 5/24, but the dispatcher had covid and it only made it on next day, and I was safe from the recall". ?

Received an email from Ford this evening, stating that my vehicle has been completely built and is now undergoing some final inspections to ensure it's ready to ship. They warned that this could cause some delays in shipping. Not sure if that's a standard email that gets sent out to everyone, or maybe just everyone whose car is finished on a Friday. Then again, my vehicle did take a few extra days compared to what most people are reporting, so maybe there really was a problem and they need to make sure everything is fine. Who knows...

They're estimating an arrival in Hawaii some time in the first week of August. That's about six weeks, which seems incredibly optimistic to me. The only way I can imagine them hitting that target is if the train drops the car off directly at the docks and cuts out truck transport on the mainland, and if the timing at the dock is just about perfect. But who knows - I shipped through standard consumer carriers and logistics companies; maybe big shipping clients like Ford get special priority. I'm still anticipating pickup some time around the end of August to mid-September, but I won't complain if Ford's prediction is accurate!
I got the same email, then it shipped a day later. I wouldn’t be too concerned with a delay.

First step is to determine how it is coming - you can do this by looking at your sticker - most likely it will say RAIL. Then you use Ford Chat and give them your VIN and ask them if they can provide your rail car number. Next steps depends on what they tell you.

Example: Ford chat told me my rail car is KCS008136 which is Kansas City Southern. I called the nice KCS people and the guy said that rail car would reach Laredo this weekend and then get into the IFG in Kansas City sometime after which is a main hub. After that I will need to contact Ford Chat again to see how it is getting to Virginia - rail or truck. Then I can stalk it other ways :)
Thanks. That is helpful

It looks like our MMEs are railcar-mates until they arrive in Kansas City. The dealer sent this last week:

Has anyone actually seen a car leave the factory since last week? My car was "in Production" since 5/27 then finally built 6/14. The website shows "In Transit"/Shipped. But the GPS on the FordPass app shows the car has been sitting in the same spot since last Wednesday morning.

Doesn't the car go into deep sleep while in transit?

Sorry to hear this. I have the same build date and batch, but show clear on both Ford and NHTSA sites for being on the recall. My Premium ER AWD is 49 / 305 in that batch.
I too have the same build date and batch and am not part of the recall. Premium ER AWD 17/305.

Ford chat just told me that as of yesterday my car is in Laredo, Texas (batch 6103, shipped 6/15). It's weird that mine made it out of Mexico while @Gold and others are still sitting there, but I'm not complaining.

I see a bunch of folks with batch 6103 with cars shipped already. I'm also in 6103 (95/300), and the production on my car started on 6/12 but hasn't changed. Anyone else in 6103 in my boat?

Seriously? My FordPass app is refreshing and showing currently updated. The GPS shows it still at the factory...I don't think the GPS is wrong. I'm wondering if I ask Ford, curious if they say something different. Something is not adding up....

how did you get this info? Mine is in shipping and I want to see its whereabouts.
It came from my dealer; it's a section of the VVR or Vehicle Visibility Report, something we don't have direct access to.

Yeah I'd ask Ford chat and see what they say. Once they're marked as shipped I see no reason why they wouldn't be loaded onto the rail cars in the correct order if they're all going to Kansas City first no matter what.
