My Mach E in batch 6103 was last in Corpus Christi on 6/25. Live chat and the dealer are still estimating the car to be delivered to Morgan Hill in the first week of August. Does anyone have any insight into what path the car takes from Corpus Christi to the Bay Area?

I'm in the process of moving and may have to fly back to the Bay Area to pick up the car and drive it to my new home . I'm hoping it arrives way sooner than they're expecting.

There have been rail maps posted a few pages back if you're curious about the path it takes.

As for the ETA, it seems like recently people have been getting their cars 2-3 weeks before the ETA date, so I'd be willing to bet yours should come early too. My car's ETA is 7/22-7/28 to Ohio and as of yesterday it was already in Kansas City, so I'm fully expecting mine to arrive early too. I don't know why Ford's system doesn't intelligently update, it would make planning a lot easier for some of us. Still better than it being late though.

From ford chat today:
the last reported status was on 6/27/2022, and at this time the vehicle shipped Rail - Railcar # TTGX953150 (Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway Co ) in Argentine, KS. The estimated dealer arrival is 7/23/2022-7/29/2022.

Update:

My car is received - Ramp 6R, Richards-gebaur, MO. Still shows delivery date July 18 - 24th. I would assume it should be in Flordia before then.

We were definitely on the same train and now we’re on the same ramp. Ford is showing 7/19-25 but my dealer said he expects it 7/9, so we’ll see!

Ford Chat also told me mine was in Richards Gebaur, MO. If it can get loaded onto a Truck, I might have it by this weekend. Expected delivery date was 7/3-7/9. Batch 6133.

I don't get it though cause the vehicle is just waiting to be picked up by a truck to come 60 miles to PA

I don’t know how long it takes to go from KCS ramp 6R to Norfolk Southern, but it seems to take about 2 weeks from the time it’s on the Norfolk Southern train to the dealer.

For me, waiting for the truck has been longer than shipping by train.

I don't get it either, it takes a truck carrier a month for last mile delivery, the Newark port must have millions of vehicles waiting to be offloaded.

I think these estimates don't get updated as much as they should. Funny you used two dealerships to take delivery. I would assume they will arrive practically the same time.

My plain Select SR, RWD was in that week of 5/23 too, and it's finally ARRIVED to the dealership today!

Here is the time stamps during the long wait.

Placed the order through a dealership in Fl on 1/30/22.
Received an email notification in April for production scheduled in April, then rescheduled for the week of 5/23/22. Built from 5/22 to 5/26/22. Shipped out a couple of days later, on 6/21/22 Ford chart said it arrived Kansas City, then 6/26 got to Jacksonville, FL.

Today 6/28/22 it's in my dealership!

I am going to take the delivery tomorrow. Hopefully there will be no surprise.

The ETA was 7/3 to 7/9. It's an early arrival. Great.

For what it’s worth, my MME is scheduled to arrive at Morgan Hill 7/14-7/20…BUT it arrived in Richmond on 6/26 so I’m expecting a call that it’s arrived at TFSMH any day now (So yes, about two weeks early ?)

I ordered at the dealership for Mullinax and then got nervous that they weren’t going to submit my order and thought if I ordered online I could track it better. Silly me. I was so much less informed 10 months ago. The manager at Ferman is a friend of a friend so he has been really easy to work with. I’m just in a waiting game right now to see what I want to do.
