Once it reached the Ford Ramp in Wilmington Delaware I asked around in the forum to see how to stalk it being transported to Virginia and someone responded that United Road brings vehicles to Virginia for Ford. Then I searched the forums and found how to get tracking information for United Road and I posted in here a few weeks ago maybe? If your vehicle was delivered by rail to Port Wilmington in Delaware then it is most likely going to be trucked to your dealer by United Road. Let me find the details of how to sign up for tracking.

Ah ok, I didn’t realize that was the same website which I think is a different carrier than the one that picks up down south. Glad to see yours is close!

Well in a prime example of the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, my car just arrived at the dealer lol. I dunno why Ford bumped my ETA this morning but glad it was wrong. Hopefully taking delivery tonight. Phew.

I am so glad my Mach-E made it to Richmond two nights ago and was just unloaded today.

What was your delivery estimate? Mine is 8/12-8/16 and still shows as inactive on United Road Logistics, which I took to mean it hasn't arrived in Richmond yet.

Hopefully this means the log jam is cleared so your car won’t sit in Avon Lake as long as mine did! Good luck!

After what feels like forever, she is finally home in my driveway charging. Y’all it is worth the wait. I am going to need to keep a lawyer on speed dial though for when I go to jail for excessive speeding!!

08/08-08/14 is my delivery window. If it’s inactive in United Road, you can still track it by calling Norfolk Southern. I was able to track it from Mexico all the way to Richmond, CA by calling Norfolk Southern. Now that the rail flatcar status is unloaded/empty, I’m tracking my car using the United Road website.

Oh no!!!! Why???! I have the same eta to Norcal. I hope it doesn't get pushed back. Would you happen to know where your car is at now? I always feel like Ford Chat does not like giving me status updates and my railcar # doesn't work. I have been using he United Road tracker but it just shows inactive meaning it has not reached Richmond. ?

I see that other June build weeks are starting to get their cars too. Happy for them for sad for us.

I actually got a call from the dealer today, even though United Road is showing inactive still. Hope you will get your car was in the same batch and you will get a surprise call too!

For those that purchased or may know, can you do all of the paperwork and looking up price protection/incentives before the car arrives? My salesman told me that they can’t do anything until the car shows up (he’s the third salesperson they’ve assigned to me, 4th if you include the guy that does all the ordering as the other 2 have quit in the 9+ months since I ordered). I told him I know that I get price protection and my interest rates from time of order were available. He said all he could do was to have me bring any documentation on that when I come in, cause he can only give current rates.
They’ve also now got my car listed on the dealer sight with a $10k markup, so that’s cool. I have a copy of the order from when I placed it but it’s not signed and I didn’t ask for a signature as I didn’t realize the shadiness of dealers and both salespeople and the sales manager (through one of the salespeople when I first asked) said that if I wait for the order it’s mine and they won’t put ADM on it.

I totally agree. I was cruising along, listening to music… I was going 85 mph in a 70 mph zone.??‍

Yeah your dealer doesn't know what they're doing or they're lying to you and playing hardball. I had my whole deal set up in advance, they were able to punch in my order number, pull up price protection, x-plan pricing, rebates and finance rates from time of order, etc before my car arrived. I even got the financial approval done ahead of time to lock all that in. When I picked ours up last night I spent maybe 10 minutes signing papers and that was it. Sorry your dealer is being crappy.

Well, after almost exactly 10 months, we finally took it home last night. Shout out to Sarchione Ford for being awesome to work with. Easy, straightforward, no games, no markups. Highly recommend them if you're in Ohio.

My Mach-E arrived a whole 2 weeks early! It arrived last night and I picked it up this morning. It only took 4 weeks from the time it was built to the time it got delivered in the Bay Area. A special thanks to the amazing team at Capitol Ford. Everyone from the sales managers to the sales team to the finance office were all friendly and professional. So often you hear about these horror stories of dealerships not honoring prices, adding mark up, or even selling your car. So it’s equally important to share a great experience as well.
