Based on the current state of the poll roughly 25% have received the update a month in. Clearly Ford is not a technology company skilled at pushing out OTAs.

Outside of the Sync updates 1.4, 1.6 and 1.7; has ford pushed any OTA's? I've owned the car since July '21. I don't recall any OTA's.

FordPass v3.34.0 (USA) says that we have now received this OTA FordPower-Up 1.7.1 on 9Nov2021. But No Frunk/Froot button in FordPass. Will update our vote now.

Notification to update came Monday night, November 8. Updated overnight. Shows version 1.7.1, but no Notes, etc, as of yet. Early access only. I'll update poll after Notes comes through.

There have been five total OTA updates. The two before 1.4 where unnumbered. 1.7.1 has been the only Sync update.

The Frunk button came with a BCM update (not OTA) and has since been removed server-side.

Well that’s a bit strange after watching other forum members get it & not me.
Literally just drove to work & sat in my chair & heard a notification bell & bingo. Car is not in WiFi @ work though. So how will that work?

Your car has a cellular data modem. It can use that to download updates among other things.

I got my update while driving from Richmond to Charlottesville. While sitting in the parking lot at my destination with the car off, but the display still on because I hadn't opened the door, everything just went black and silent. I figured something was up when that happened.

The OTA showed up today. I checked manually at the airport when I got back in town today and the update screen said the car had 1.7.1 but there was no other evidence. Drove about 25 minutes to Costco then got the FordPass notification while I was shopping. Notes was there when I got back out to the car. ??
Changed my vote.

Maybe add a category for those that received the "IT'S OK, WE'LL TRY AGAIN SOON" message indicating the update failed. The car was in the garage with WIFI connectivity when I suspect the download started. When I pulled out of the garage and noticed the sync screen displayed a half dark and half light background. The setting is normally set to dark mode, but had switched to 'auto'. I changed it back to 'dark' mode and that corrected it. The car was probably receiving the update (based on the time stamp of the failure notification) at that time, but once I leave the garage there is no cell coverage for several hundred yards, then spotty at best for the next mile or so. The download process probably timed out. All this is speculation on my part, but would make sense if that is the case. It would be helpful if ford could give a notification that a Power-Up download was in process. I would have waited for it to complete before leaving. The failure notification states it "will try again at my regularly scheduled update time"...whenever that is?

Not enrolled in early access. Got my car early July 21
All features listed are present and working except for the Remote Vehicle Setup, I looked everywhere on FordPass on my phone and even on the Ford owner site on my computer.

Got my 1.7.1 update overnight, but there is nothing telling me that I did. I know I got it because a) the car behaved weird during my short drive, and then b) I see Notes. After powering on/off a few times, car is behaving fine BUT under updates it just says I'm up to date, not that I just got 1.7.1. Sloppy, sloppy.

This is what you did when you created your profile in the app when you first got the car. They've just added more stuff to it. It's a one time setup so you won't see it again.
