It should. Original coverage for my 91KW battery is 10years/100K miles already. This coverage extends bumper to bumper, i.e. everything, for 10 years. Hope that clarifies.

The federal emissions warranty for the battery and the the electric motor(s) (and related components) is 8 years/100K miles.

I am still happy with my choice of the Mach E. I think it looks better then the rest and will improve the most over time with software updates. I am told our cars are produced and are only waiting on a chip. I am sure we will have them before Christmas.

I think we might be in the same boat.

I have a GT that's supposed to be coming into the Seattle (Lynnwood) Area. Originally Ford Chat estimated dealer delivery by 11/18, then it became 12/2, this morning it became 12/16.

I was Batch 08987 - 409/690.

Per the module look up, everything is there, within FordPass I see it as an Active Vehicle. What chip would be missing at this point?

Skip the extended warranty. The most expensive piece of equipment already has an 8-year/100K mile warranty on it. If you really want it, you have until the initial warranty is up in 3-years/36K miles. Plenty of Ford dealers selling the factory extended warranty online for well under $1200 right now. Get your money back now.

That is a very reasonable perspective. Can't argue with it. You just have to find the dealer and hope the warranty they sell is accepted by Ford and a dealer that will service the vehicle. Know what you are getting and from whom, is my only caution.

My vehicle is now in Laredo, Texas. In the US baby! Progress! Next stop, Kansas City, I assume.

Unfortunately, Ford Chat didn't seem to be able to find the railcar number. Bummer. I'll just have to bug them again in a week. ETA has fluctuated between late November and first week of December.

Here is the number for KCS (Kansas City Southern Rail CO.)

I called them, their response is that its not a KCS tracking, but instead KCSM. Still in Mexico.

Six days to ship? In what universe?? Mine was built on 10/28 and they're saying 11/16 (as a minimum) to St. Louis, which isn't that far from the KC terminal.

Yeah, I’m sure they are wrong, hopefully I’ll hear from the dealership this week. I’ll check ford chat again in a few days if it doesn’t move to Built status.

I headed to my dealer yesterday to update my trade-in value (they offered less but not as much as I've paid so yay for me). Best they had was an update from Nov 2nd that it was at Lecheria, so still in the Mexico City region. I tried calling CSX but they didn't have an update. Anyone know if there's a number to call for KCSM other than the CSX one?
