Election in 24 won’t change the EV tax credit for 23, im Not sure which one you are getting for 60k but mine is 72k, plus fees, etc, at least no sales tax in NJ. So yea, the tax credit makes it much easier.

Ford chat can help you with the rail car number and you find a phone number to track the rail car. However, it might not be accurate. My previous MME was delivered to the dealership in Texas but the rail car tracking info was still showing that the rail car was still emptied in Canada.

thank you. i asked my dealer but they haven't gotten back to me. i've been waiting for a 2023 to show up on a dealer's inventory so i could find out that way.

I broke down to temptation and asked FC about ETA and location.
They were helpful by volunteering the rail car, etc., and I will only try asking here and there instead of the daily fellows.

Same horrible ETA of 1/11/23.

Car appears still in Lecheria, ME.
They told me that the rail car # is KCS 008173, which I think some others here might also be on.
And they said that they don't know the company, but I see that KCS is a rail company.

Is anyone else on the same railcar and know how to track the railcar with that company?

That’s from my dealer, this could have been prior to Ford coming out with no X Plan. That was sent the first day I ordered Aug 29th

I'm curious to see if anyone in our group has luck with getting their dealer to use Vinview to track their car with the GPS. Getting the rail car number is at least some information, but having a live view as it progresses is neat. I wish they'd create a customer facing view of this instead of having to go through the dealer, but happy to have something compared to nothing. I'm finding out that my dealer is beyond lazy though, won't pull up any info on Smart Vincent or really do anything until the car is delivered. Claims that there is too much that can change between now and delivery, even though the car has been built and shipped.
