Prior to this when the car had OTA updates we didn’t have issues with it updating. Does the HOV need to be at 10% for it to help calibrate the HV SOC% and desulfate the 12v battery? I’ve had it at 50% or a little higher and left it plugged in for an entire day.
leaving MME plugged in will not guarantee 12v is being charged. 12v only charges while MME is "on", or actively charging. charging from 50% doesn't take long enough unless you are charging with 120v L1 charge.

Taking the MME HV down to 10%, and then charging to 100% on L2 is good for several things. A. helps recalibrate the HV SOC%. B. the slow current at the end of 100% charge give the internal BMS time to top-balance internal cells. C. long time charging is good to desulfate 12v

Oh ok. Thank you for that info. We have a 120v L1 charger at home.

Are you sure that's the 12v? Mine says 63% which is the exact same as my large battery and my car is only 10 weeks old.
When I posted that in June it was true. By August they had changed it (post 71). Supposedly was never supposed to show 12v but that particular ”glitch” should have remained a feature. I don’t know why they wouldn’t have left it the way it was, was a really useful feature.

The only reason why that I can think of, I guess is the software programmers don't own any Mach e. Never have experience with the car.

The only reason why that I can think of, I guess is the software programmers don't own any Mach e. Never have experience with the car.
It really is not very useful to see the soc% for the 12v because "normal" use swings between 50%-80% dialy and it would just worry people.

what would be USEFUL is to see an indicator, or counter, showing when the 12v drops below 12.1 or 12.0..... this would give some indication that capacity has dropped to the point where the HV dc-dc had to come on to charge it.

are you listening @Ford Motor Company ?

Ford.com Then sign in>account>(yourname)account. The charge level is actually your 12v charge level.
Did this and the charge reading here is what I just ended charging the car to, not the 12v

Yes. Ford “fixed” it several months ago.
Right, when I posted it In June it was true. Was changed shortly after that, July or August I think
