leaving MME plugged in will not guarantee 12v is being charged. 12v only charges while MME is "on", or actively charging. charging from 50% doesn't take long enough unless you are charging with 120v L1 charge.Prior to this when the car had OTA updates we didn’t have issues with it updating. Does the HOV need to be at 10% for it to help calibrate the HV SOC% and desulfate the 12v battery? I’ve had it at 50% or a little higher and left it plugged in for an entire day.
Taking the MME HV down to 10%, and then charging to 100% on L2 is good for several things. A. helps recalibrate the HV SOC%. B. the slow current at the end of 100% charge give the internal BMS time to top-balance internal cells. C. long time charging is good to desulfate 12v
