LOL yeah. I don't think they want to drive their mobil unit over an hour to me and then over an hour back. 🤪🐩
They accepted an appointment for me and I'm 45 min away. Depends where you are but may be worth a try

I have to pull the 12v from my car today to fix some weirdness.

Since my update, my car had not been recognizing my finger swipes to lock the door on the b and c pillars. It was more frustrating than the usual multiple swipes where my car didn't recognize any touches.

Also the door actuators were slow in responding and very slow to retract once I opened the door with my keyfob.

Just something to be aware of if you guys notice some weirdness, but all seems good post pull.

I haven’t noticed either symptom. Granted, I only have actuators on the rear doors but they have been normal. Tapping the lock touch point on the door also functions just as before the updates. 🤷‍♂️🐩

I don't know if this was mentioned earlier in the thread, but it pops up as an option to do this update OTA. Is that not the case, and will I have to take the car in to have this done?

It will be a while (probably months) before the OTA is released. If you transport small children or pets, or drive very short trips I would get it done now.

Wow I’m glad I just replaced my 12v a couple weeks ago. This 12 minute thing sounds straight up dangerous.

Go figure Ford trades one dangerous situation with another. This can’t be the best and only solution out there.

Ford dealerships get compensated for mobile service, as well as picking up and dropping off your vehicle.

I had to look up the TSB again to find this supplement (and the enclosed bulletin). Please note this change has NOT been posted to PTS Alerts section (sort of the 'headlines section' of PTS) yet, so unless your service advisor is reading everything that comes along in their email, they may not be aware that this program has been green lit as of 5 Sep 25.
My letter arrived in the mail yesterday.

Especially if you don't have a brand-new battery.

My car is still at the dealer been 24 hours the car while at the dealer gave an error of " Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power" So they need to keep it for more diagnostics. It was originally at service for the recall update and the dignostics for the car driver assist and etc which kept occuring then while driving the car.

Just called my dealership and was told it not yet available for my 2022. Would be notified when it is.
If you have dealt with a competent service advisor, I'd reach out directly to that person. I had the same issue when I called my dealers's main service line number. When I emailed my SA, I got scheduled for next day mobile service.

Also, the recall fix letters should be arriving, if it hasn't already. Mine arrived in the mail yesterday.
