GB FE purchased March 2021. This is the best car I have ever owned. With that said, it definitely has some quirks. I bought the car in Detroit and drove it to my home in N. Florida. I have road tripped to New Orleans, Sarasota, N. Georgia, and N. Alabama without any significant charging issues. Generally, with a 100% charge driving 75-80 mph on the interstate, I can go around 200 miles before range anxiety begins to set in. I have a good L2 home charger, and access to several (free) DC fast chargers in my city. I really enjoy not buying gas right now.
I am scheduled for the windshield and roof recalls mid June. My local dealer is incredibly backed up on service appointments. THey estimate they will need my car for a week for these recalls.
One quirk has to do with door opening. When I approach the car with either paak (which works about 95% of the time) or fob, the front passenger door won't open until one of the other doors is opened. Once another door is opened, the front passenger door responds to a push of the button.
A new quirk is that for a brief period yesterday, paak did not work and the center display has a message (see photo attached) I had not seen before. Basically, a message stating "System Off to Save Battery" with a progress slider. The car started with the manual code, and the slider completed its journey and the normal display returned. This happened for about three start/stop cycles while I was running errands. I restarted my iPhone and paak resumed working and I have not seen this screen since.
I am curious to see if anyone else has had this issue - somehow I am doubtful that restarting my phone was the cure.
