I have the Magnaride on my 2023.5, but I can't come to terms with the recommended 39+ psi for the tires.

I realize I'm sacrificing some tire life, as well as efficiency, but the car just feeeels and rides, and handles better with cold pressure closer to 35psi. They warm up to the higher 30's, of course.
Starting at 39 and warming into the 40's takes the cherry off the top of my driving desert.

I imagine labor rates at dealerships will kill that budget.

I'd want to know the parts price and then either install myself, or shop around for independent shop labor.

Ford, GM, Ram....... The shop rates are approaching white lab coat rates. ??
Yes, definitely check labor outside of the dealer. I was quoted $900 labor for a "four hour job" to replace the parking brake pedal on my 2014 Flex. I watched a youtube video and did it myself in about an hour.

If someone gets all the 2025 suspension components installed and loves the ride, please say so...I would do most anything to get a better ride.... except trade in the SOB and take a 10k hit. Car is great after 3.5 years, except for the ride. BC is also better than sliced bread!

I was mistaken, the rear shocks are now $100 and front struts are $105. I have a feeling my fronts are shot, I'll get struts from the 24 when they become available. Might try the rear shocks for the heck of it, but I'm not going to replace my Eibach springs. Ideally a 24 GT (non magna, if it existed) front strut would fit my bill better, because I'm almost 3/4 of an inch compressed on the stroke so just out of the sweet spot of the strut.

Didn't have travel? What that?
A shock fails either by not dampening enough (oil valve failure), or the oil valve breaks and doesn't let enough oil past so it's 'locked up' or very stiff.

It would make sense that if they replaced the later 22's with different shocks, the older ones may not have been durable enough with the weight of the battery and they are failing prematurely?
My 21's shocks could be pressed in and out by hand with little effort. (My stock front struts were a little harder to manually compress). Were they shot, or was that by design, I don't know. But I know the Koni's required me to put my weight into it (I'm 250lbs) to compress them an inch. I don't think there is much rebound control on the ~21 - 23 suspension. Based on a design idea of a 5,000 lb car isn't going to let the tire off the ground much if at all just due to the weight. But also from an engineering idea of allowing the tire to snap back to the ground for traction/safety over ride quality. 2 turns in on the Koni's and the rebound control doesn't allow the tire to stay pressed to the ground, rather it can float a tad over expansion joints etc. It creates an echo through the Conti RX's so much that I moved to different tires. Backing the koni's down allows the tire to stay planted but lessens the butt bounce these cars to so known for.

When the new shocks/struts for the 24's become avail. I'd be curious if the 25's would be using the same or an even more improved version.

Also you can probably purchase these front strut/springs already assembled and the rear would be just a spring and shock. If the front is assembled, it would make installing these really quick and easy for any DIY'ers.

I took my 22 CRT1 yesterday for a 30K service and mentioned about the bouncy ride. They checked and told me rear shocks didn’t have travel and told me they will replace them under warranty. Hopefully this will improve the ride quality. PS- they also suggested brake flush is that necessary?
IIRC the brake flush is recommended every 2 years. Check your owner's manual.

you may want to do the Eibach Springs
Sorry, could you clarify if that is the lowering or raising springs? I believe they have both.

I think what he meant to say was those "white lab coat rates secondary to the enormous pressure and malpractice attorney threats".....Just some much needed editing ?
