Probably need to jump and/or charge the 12-volt battery.Have about 1k miles on the 2023 Mach E extended range. Car was working fine yesterday.
But today it would not start at all. Start button just blinks green and nothing happens - none of the screens turn on, etc...
Any advise on how to address it?
Although I am only watching this thread, I wanted to compliment you for posting the pages from the owners manual. In a situation like this, posting the pages is really helpful so the OP doesn't have to search for the relevant pages when in an already stressful situation. Thanks from one member of the community. It could still be the 12v battery. There is a way to get the car into neutral if you can get the car started enough to be able to turn the shifter knob. If not, then you’ll need to get a tire truck with dollies.![]()
Sounds like there is something wrong with your 12v battery, something draining the battery, or maybe the LVB charger in the car isn’t working. Hopefully the dealer will resolve it quickly.I am also having a similar issue with the 12v battery. All was working fine until a couple of weeks ago. The first symptom was a rear liftgate that wouldn't close. I had to force it shut. At that point I had no idea that I could check the 12v battery level in the ford.com account (seems it should be included on the app). Left the car over a weekend at 60% charge on the HVB because I didn't want to leave it plugged in on a full charge. Car worked fine on Monday after a full charge. Drove it a short trip. Tuesday, wouldn't start--had the warnings about collision assistant, system off to preserve battery, etc. Let it sit. Learned about the 12v battery meter and checked it at 66%. Wednesday, car started fine, drove to work then again left it for a few days at a friends while out of town. Came back, 12v still at 66%, HVB at 85% when arrived home on Friday night. Did not charge. Saturday morning, 12v battery was at 0%!!. Nothing was on in the car, all doors shut. I have no idea what drained the battery. Put it on a trickle charger, got 12v to 25%. Drove for errands, plugged in last night on the 110 charger and the 12v started to charge. Swithched to the 220 charger overnight for offpeak charging and the 12v did not add any charge. Now have car on the 110 and it is charging the 12v. Will be going to Ford dealer tomorrow.
Excuse my ignorance, but when I go to ford.com it doesn't show the 12v battery status on my 21. What's the trick or is my good old clunker too old?Have about 1k miles on the 2023 Mach E extended range. Car was working fine yesterday.

Hi there! I can look into your Mach-E's no start concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Mach-E's VIN?Have about 1k miles on the 2023 Mach E extended range. Car was working fine yesterday.
