2025 Mach-E Order Guide First Look

I priced out a premium and the sheet they gave me said an 88 KWH battery. Thought maybe it was a typo though as it is less than earlier models.

I ordered a 2025 Friday, and noticed the same thing. It's still the same extended range battery as previous years, but that 88kwh is noted as "usable" power.

Sad for new owners that they are removing the de-icer. I imagine because the windshield replacement cost is ridiculous but I love it so much on my 2021.

I’m curious how that works. Is it tied to the vehicle? So if a bad driver totals out the car on the way home from the dealership, are you now out $2,495? Or can you transfer to another Mach-E?

Our understanding is tied to the VIN. No word on transferability.

TBD, EPA tests and all that. I expect it will be the same as 2024 though.

That color is similar, but it's actually Molten Magenta Metallic, not Rapid Red.

NACS adapter is now included with the Mobile Power cord. Nice move on Ford’s part and should make things much easier for first time EV owners out there.

I just went through the order guide, it appears to me that ventilated seats are only available on the Premium trim, not the GT? I hate to say this, but that will probably be the deciding factor in my upgrading from my '23 or not. Sounds petty, but once I had ventilated seats in the wife's Edge GT, I'll probably never get a car without them again. lol.

Whether pleather or fabric, after having ventilated seats in the last few cars, I miss it!. I feel my 2015 Ram had great ventilated seats. Our 2019 Cherokee wasn’t too bad. My 2018 F150 had ventilated and they weren’t as great. But regardless of fabric, I miss having ventilated.

How does the de-icer work? Is it like a rear defrost zone just located under the wiper blades?

The glass used to be heated under where the rear wiper parked. This feature functioned when the car was remote started or started on a departure schedule. It no longer is heated. ??

I know but why, that was so nice with all the freezing rain we get, didn’t have to touch the wipers. ?
