Off topic (again): Glad it worked out with the Endodontist. I performed thousands of root canals and hundreds of surgeries when I practiced and my patients weren't thrilled at the thought of surgery either. If you do need the surgery (apical curettage/apicoectomy/retrograde filling) it's not really that bad on a maxillary incisor and if you're really apprehensive ask for nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia in addition to the local anesthetics. Now back to topic. End of dental thread.Well since this is now a medical thread ...
Front tooth (medical term, bugs bunny tooth). Broke it a 1/8" down from the gum so they just built it up. Worked well for 25 years then they said I needed a root canal and a crown. So that was done by a general dentist. Went back 6 months later and the abscess grew. Said I needed the tooth next to it done. So he did that one. 6 months later same thing, so he sent me to an Endodontist who said he might have to slice open my mouth and scrape shit out ... I wasn't too thrilled so he said let's try re-doing those 2 root canals again first. That was about 5 months ago... sooo time will tell.
@WyldStallyn it's like updated getting pulled ... minus well continue the trend.
