3.29.0 Fordpass update just released

As of 8AM PST the update was not showing up in the app update option. However I went directly to the Ford Pass app and there was an option then to update, which I did.

I've had the issue where it crashes on start up for at least 3 weeks now (iOS - 3.28.0). refused to reinstall it (again). installed this update this morning. same thing is happening. restarted my phone, no difference.

will likely have to uninstall and reinstall again to see if they fully fixed it.

You may need to go in to bluetooth setting and remove the mach-e in bluetooth setting before you reinstall. that maybe why it keeps crashing.

I just downloaded v3.29 to my iPhone and now car is charging outside of the charging time window I set (no departure times are set.) I verified that the charge time window is still there. I made a minor change and sent it to the car, but no joy. Still charging when I don't want it to. Had to manually stop the charge.

Question for forum members (re: FordPass): Do any of you have issues with the FordPass Battery Charge Logs (under the "Manage EV" tab in the Vehicle Menu) being extremely inaccurate? Although my charge logs closely matched my ChargePoint (Level 2 home charger) usage logs during the first few months of ownership, my recent charge logs in FordPass make no sense at all.

Two nights ago I charged from 44% to 90%. FordPass indicates a 10% charge while my ChargePoint app says it delivered 45 kWh (which is about right for a 46% charge with a 10% loss). Recently, I'm getting erroneous values from FordPass on charging history. So much so that I can't rely on it anymore.

Yes! It was accurate for the first 6 weeks of ownership then the last 3 times it was all out of wack.

1st time: I charged from 18% to 90% at home and it said my estimated miles added was 858 miles
2nd time: I got about 10% added free at a movie theatre, went home and finished charging up to 90%. Instead of two separate charges it said my entire charge was at the movie theater.
3rd time: I charged from 48% to 90% at home, it said I added 690 miles. The KWH added though seems to always match up.

I don't know if this is what you're experiencing but I noticed that sometimes when I charge at the same place two times in a row, it will think that I was plugged into that one place the entire time so it'll say like "plugged in for 6 days" or whatever and have inaccurate % and such.

You won’t get an “update” notification in the App Store for about 24hrs. If you want to update now, go to the Store and search for FordPass. It’ll say “Open” but don’t tap on that. Instead, tap on the pictures below FordPass. On the next screen it’ll say Update.

This is just how IOS works with updates. There is a delay in getting the notification but you can update now if you follow steps above.

Yeah that’s what I do. It wasn’t showing up for me earlier. It’s fine now though.

After enjoying PAAK for the last few weeks; I'm in no hurry to download a new update!!!

I will definitely give this a try - i did notice that the MME shows up twice in the bluetooth settings. something i hadn't noticed before. but checked my wife's phone and it is seemingly normal as she has two as well.

Mine started crashing on start-up a week ago and I wanted to wait for a new version before I deleted the app and re-installed. Unfortunately, version 3.29 still won't open on an iPhone running 14.7.1. I guess it's time to delete the app and try and start from scratch...

That‘s normal. One is for infotainment and one is for PaaK.

Maybe a phone restart will help. ??

Mine is working perfect right now I keep waiting for it to glitch out but it just does not happen. I need to learn how to kick the car better that is all I got.

Is the running trip gauge consumption number what it is for the whole running trip? I reset it but after 4600+ km it is 18 KW/100 km with all 2 way highway and definitely not timid. Darn that is like 490 Km (305 mi) range with range improvements coming! I am sure this car does well over 400 km highway at this point and a chance of getting better.

I am up dating with hope there is something to complain about ?
