3.29.0 Fordpass update just released

On iOS 14.7.1, it opened quickly, and the charge level, on both the Home screen and Vehicle screen agreed. Yesterday, using 3.28.0, they didn’t.

Have you driven it since the update? My screens would agree after a force close and restart, but rarely otherwise. If you just updated the app, that would force a restart on the app.

So has anyone noticed that the Vehicle Page is almost entirely useless? To my eye, if you added to the Home Page (1) current location of vehicle, and (2) buttons for charge and departure management, that would basically cover it for me. The Home Page would then cover about 99% of the usefulness of FordPass.

(My car is currently at the dealership, getting a new IPC and software updates, so that’s why 100%).

I will definitely give this a try - i did notice that the MME shows up twice in the bluetooth settings. something i hadn't noticed before. but checked my wife's phone and it is seemingly normal as she has two as well.

One is for media. The other is for PaaK

Odd. It’s not up for me. Still shows 3.28. Must be a Apple thing. That and it’s god awful early here.

Takes a while for it to swim the ocean.... It has such small digits, it is hard to get a good grip on the water.

Apple has staggered roll outs, not everyone gets the update at the same time so that they don't have to handle as much traffic and anyone downloading has good enough download speed.

there's a drain under there. they've improved its ability to drain out shrimp cocktail ice.

Journey recording didn't reset to off on this update so that particular bug seems to be fixed.

Question for forum members (re: FordPass): Do any of you have issues with the FordPass Battery Charge Logs (under the "Manage EV" tab in the Vehicle Menu) being extremely inaccurate? Although my charge logs closely matched my ChargePoint (Level 2 home charger) usage logs during the first few months of ownership, my recent charge logs in FordPass make no sense at all.

Two nights ago I charged from 44% to 90%. FordPass indicates a 10% charge while my ChargePoint app says it delivered 45 kWh (which is about right for a 46% charge with a 10% loss). Recently, I'm getting erroneous values from FordPass on charging history. So much so that I can't rely on it anymore.

mine seem to be right but I know others have said they've seen strange stuff in there (maybe @SnBGC ? I forget.)

Ok, starting the experiment. Updated to 3.29 at 11:02AM. My Pixel 5 has 73% of battery remaining. Background restriction is removed and PAAK notifications are enabled. Here goes nothing....

Well, time to call this experiment and the patient. It is now 1:50PM. I am down to 46% battery remaining and FordPass has jumped to top by far. I guess one could say it now allows for about 6-8 hour battery life with FordPass running, so maybe a little better.

Maybe we should setup a GoFundMe for Ford to buy an Android phone? If they had just one, they might consider testing this POS. I'd donate $5. Anyone else?
