Since the 5940 folks seem to finally be getting built, do we know how many batches are between 5940 and 5992?

None for North American market. The two batches are sequential (see below). But perhaps there is an equivalent number of cars for Europe, judging by total output.

With any luck us 5992 folks will see movement soon since 5940 is such a small batch. Best of luck everyone.

Modules just got in? I forgot to tell, Ford Canada sent me an email today to tell that it’s only a production delay and there was no missing parts actually (the good news). All part arrived end of April… I personally was more worry about chip shortages or something else missing versus a production delay.

Completely agree!

We are 28 months into the pandemic. They ought to have an idea how to predict and deal with the next set of disruptions.

This is not rocket science.
From a production and manufacturing side it’s nuts. I think the problem is most of these companies have never had to plan so far out on what they might run low on. For RVs it’s everything from DEF tanks, sensors, generators, furniture appliances, and the chassis itself. It’s like trying to plan and buy ingredients for your dinner 6 months from now when you’re used to planning a week out.

How do you tell if you have "all" your modules?

There’s a thread for that too:

https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/number-of-modules-for-each-trim-options.15586/

But I think job 2 cars might be a bit different. According to the table, a premium awd er ought to have 1006, and mine has 1008. At least I know that mine was done. It took less than 6 hours.
I meant do they all load at once? I see some people state that they are still waiting on certain ones. Theres hundreds in those columns so I have no clue to know if it's complete or not. If the status says Built 5-13-2022, does that mean it's ready to be shipped???

No, they load in large batches, but not at once. I don’t know how real time the upload process is vs people actually assembling components on your vehicle, but it certainly felt like it was real time to me. I checked 3-4 times during the build, but did it on my phone and didn’t have the ability to count until later in pm when l counted the full amount.

If your car is missing parts, you should count less modules. But the thread I copied also referenced modules that get activated upon delivery.

Good question whether built is ready to be shipped. Someone here on this thread has a car on chip hold, so maybe they can clarify. I assume hold is not built yet.
