Only because you haven't needed it.
I've needed that function a few times but I use the one that's always sitting there on the touchscreen just below and to the right of the volume knob.

When I need a climate control function I always look to where all the climate controls are....not far off to the left where light and traction controls are.

So yes, knowing that there is already a max defrost button available on the touchscreen, I would prefer the physical max defrost button be used as a trunk open/close button.

You made me laugh. You haven’t needed it yet. And maybe never will. The physical button exists so the car can safely be driven with a clear windsceeen should the center screen fail.

Do you mean if ice builds up on the outside? I was only thinking of the inside fogging, which I could wipe off manually if I really had to. But the ice is a different story. Good point.

Not available for my 2023. It's been a month since the last update.

Any 21 job2’s get this update? I’m still waiting!
Got it last night on my 2021 Job 1 FE followed immediately by the FTDI update.

6.14 is a pretty large update (I saw over 1GB of data downloaded by my MachE on my WiFi) so it might be downloading and you don't know it yet.

It's nice to hear some FE are getting this update and a frunk button, but still nothing here for me.

I'm a little embarrassed but I didn't notice until a couple of days ago that I think this reset the non-GT hack for power/regen gauge on the IPC. I'll have to see if I can re-enable it.
