My '21 Premium ER AWD was just updated to 6.2.1 (not sure what happened to 6.2, but whatever).

I haven't checked out the new display updates, and I don't care about the "record feedback," but I haven't been able to take my dogs in my MME for months because they always set off the alarm no matter what I do, so I and my dogs are THRILLED that Ford claims to have fixed that issue...we shall see!

FYI enable and use the prompt on shutdown because that usually works. But not always.

I've ALWAYS used it, as well as locking it from the pillar, as many have suggested, l and none of it EVER works. Every single time, I'm in the store and eventually get a notice from FordPass that my alarm was set off, and I get back to the car to find traumatized little dogs.

My one dog loves the car and is miserable every time he sees me leave without him. Can't wait to get him out again!

I mean, you should be leaving your car and AC/heater on for the dog, no?

Probably depends on the climate and time of day. In summer, yes, but I also try not to leave them unattended in the car in the summer. But this is why so many people want a pet mode.

I see that you are in Southern California. You may not realize that most of the Earth experiences perfectly comfortable temperatures through different seasons, enjoyable without need for any climate control aids, especially inside a car, and especially if you are a dog.

same excitement for my 21 first ed
It does tell you about the software talent pool and exec priorities when a bug has a multi/year life and you are reminded of the defect every time you turn off the car.

however I am thankful ?

21 FE. Updated from 6.1.0 to 6.2.1 yesterday. Things I’ve noticed.
Screen changes and Personal Profile button were installed prior to 6.1.0 update.
Record Feedback was moved to Apps screen.
Can’t permanently disable Motion Sensors but have always had a working prompt when turning off the vehicle.
Turned off Autofold mirrors.
Auto Hold appears in Driver Assistance and under Propulsion Sound in Controls. Could have been like this all along but just noticed it now.
Hopefully, updates start to roll in. I renewed my BC subscription and would like to see 1.3 sooner than later.

Yes, there was always a prompt when turning off the car even when it was supposedly disabled, but even choosing yes to disable the interior motion sensor through the prompt didn't work. I'm hoping this update fixes it.

I just got 6.2.1 yesterday as well. Never got 6.2. The only thing I noticed was that my mirrors didn't close automatically (I turned it back on in settings) and that there is a microphone. What else is new? It says a smaller top bar and moved some icons. I don't see any difference. Where is this? What is the dedicated user profile button that they moved?
What is the motion sensor alarm they are talking about?

Hardware in 2021 vehicles was quirky. My disabled prompt always worked so I can’t verify they fixed it. To test it, roll down a window before exiting and locking. Wave your arm inside the open window. Hope it works now.

On the top bar far right you should see your profile picture. Tap on it and your profile screen will open.
Your vehicle has inside motion sensors. When active, anyone or anything in the vehicle will set off the alarm. There is a menu setting that gives you a prompt to turn them off when exiting the vehicle. Some 2021 models would turn the sensors off but they were still active.
In the Apps screen there is a Feedback feature that allows you to record a message and share with Ford. Use it for suggestions, complaints, etc....

Ford Mustang Mach-E 6.2.1 FIXES MOTION SENSOR ALARM Screenshot_20231206_142128_FordPass

Here are the update details the everyone's info. I haven't had a chance to look at the screen changes, but the mention by @Almondtree about his mirrors not folding reminded me that mine didn't automatically unfold when I started it up immediately after the update, which is another thing I'll check on right after I get done waving my arm around with the window rolled down...or maybe I'll just put the dog that will be the least traumatized in the car and see if the alarm goes off...fun times! ?

I'm just hoping that my interior light choice will stop being overridden by the drive mode color, i.e., the only time I see my chosen red interior lighting is when I get in the car before I turn it on and when I turn the car off...in between, the lighting is blue for Engaged (I don't let myself drive in Unbridled very often and not just because I don't like the orange lighting...?).
