6/27/22 Build Week Thread

I am in the same boat. I'm AOK 501599. My railcar has not been updated since March.

I had the same issue and then my car just popped up in Kansas City. Now I have a Norfolk Southern railcar number assigned but Ford says my car is still in Muncie. I'm secretly hoping that my car just dropped off the grid again and I see it pop up in Delaware.

Welcome to the forum! I'd suggest calling your dealer back and asking them for the VIN number of your car. If your car has been built or is about to go into production, they'll be able to get you the VIN and the order number off the window sticker. Ask them to send you the window sticker.

Once you have that, you can track your car's progress in a couple of ways articulated in this thread. Good luck!

You should have received Emails from Ford regarding progress on your order. You might try calling or chatting with Ford customer service. Dig out your original order number and give it to them. Good luck!

Hooray! According to Ford customer support, my car arrived at ramp 6R, Richards-Gebaur rail yard in Kansas City earlier today. They have not yet loaded it on a new rail car for the trip north (my dealer is in the Dakotas). Delivery estimate remains the same at 7/29/22.

I would guess other cars with the same or similar build date have arrived in KC as well: @FamDocDon , @imperator , @USC , @junb1 , and @Efrain ?

Hooray! According to Ford customer support, my car arrived at ramp 6R, Richards-Gebaur rail yard in Kansas City earlier today. They have not yet loaded it on a new rail car for the trip north (my dealer is in the Dakotas). Delivery estimate remains the same at 7/29/22.

I would guess other cars with the same or similar build date have arrived in KC as well: @FamDocDon , @imperator , @USC , @junb1 , and @Efrain ?

LoL I haven't tried to track the rail car yet but I definitely have ants in my pants too. Stoked.

So I live in the south suburbs of KC. The railyard you all have identified isn't that far from me. Last night as I was driving home from a happy hour isaw 2 transport trailers loaded with MMEs heading north from that direction. Have no idea where they are going (if they were heading to the Ford plant for processing, they were on the wrong highway but maybe it was a long route) but it felt noteworthy.

Yes mine was also on Ramp 6P today, and loaded on a Convoy (Jack Trooper Transport).

Hey, just out of curiosity, how did you get all this information? I'm really hopeful that since my dealer is less than 5 miles from the railyard that I may be able to take delivery day of cargo transport but I don't know when that would be. I know it's not on my dealer lot yet, but I assume it won't sit in the rail yard much longer.
