Ford unveiled the Mach-E 6 years ago today. I immediately placed my reservation. It took longer than expected to get my car, but it was finally delivered in February of 2021, more than 2 years a year later. Still driving her today with 58K on the odometer.

March 2021 for me, mine was a cancelled reservation, and I just rolled over 70,000 miles! I plan to keep it for at least 4 more years. Having a paid off car that still works great and looks almost brand new is fun.

Discovered the MME in the spring of 21 so a measly 4+ years ago. Ordered a 4X version but the delivery time was going long at the time so after some searches, picked up my car as a cancelled order. NO plans to part with it in the foreseeable future.

We hope you and her are very happy together, please spare us the details... :cwl:

I saw a mention of the reveal, but dismissed it as “oh, it’s just going to be a 2-door sports car, no thanks.”

While I was placing a reservation for the Lightning in late 2021, I noticed the Mustang and showed it to my partner. She had also dismissed it without seeing it. When she saw it, we put in an order. Then went searching for a test drive. It took months to find a place with a vehicle that we could test drive. And we were even more sold on it.

We took delivery in early 2022. There’s still no vehicle out there that compares for us.

Yes, there are a few things we think don’t perfectly match our needs (ground clearance, screen controls of the HVAC), but overall it’s still the second-best vehicle we’ve ever owned (the Lightning is the best).

We now have 53k fantastic miles on the Mustang and would have more but the Lightning is more comfortable for long road trips.

We have almost the same story. My First Edition was delivered in early February and has 57,500 miles.

Still love driving that car!

Same here Dave as far as my first Mach-E. I saw the unveiling, placed my order right away and picked up my Premium February 12, 2021. In April '21 Ford announced the GT, placed an order and picked my GTPE October '21. One of my friends assumed my Ford options loan on the Premium. Kept the GTPE for 3 years and when Ford options was up last year, traded it in for my current '24 GTP. Really love this car!. Between all three cars have driven 80K trouble free miles. 😊

The Rally springs add a bit of ground clearance and a much smoother ride 😊

I ain't got no fix for the HVAC controls however 🤣

When I saw early news about the reveal I sent it to a Mustang-loving friend of mine and his reaction was along the lines of "I'd love a Mustang EV, but not that thing." And then after her\ drove a neighbor's Mach E, he bought a '21 GTPE! I obsessed over what EV to replace my Volvo XC60 with before finally landing my '22 GT. I'm retired and don't drive as much as I used to, so I have less than 30K miles on it, but I do love it and will likely have it until the extended warranty expired. As of right now there's no other car available that I would replace it with. The closest is a Rally without the spoiler, but it's not worth the extra money for a much smaller frunk. Yeah, I'd love a few of the 2025 bells and whistles, but not enough to spend that mind of money. Plus, I have what is (to me) decidedly the best color: Iced Blue Silver Metallic. I love, love, love that color!

We’ve started using the Mustang less for road trips, so a loss of range might not be a big deal.

I would have gone the GT route had it been available at first delivery. When they said that the GT would ship 6-9 months later, I went with the Premium.

I've not noticed an appreciable loss of range since installing the Rally springs, but of course YMMV (literally)

I feel sure I pad the £1000 returnable refund in February 2020, signed the official confirming cash order at the dealer on 11th December 2020 and took delivery mid-June 2021, 120,455 miles ago.

Day tripping ceased since I retired in August and now don’t really plan on getting rid anytime soon.

I ordered my Infinite Blue Metallic in November a couple of days after the reveal. Took delivery in March of 21. Still have her, still love her. Just turned 69k. Best car ever!
