New member - first post, thanks for having me.

Just joined MCA for X-Plan. I know I have to be a member for 90 days before using X-Plan, but ... can I go ahead and get a PIN and order the Mach-E now since it won't arrive until after 90 days, or do I have to wait 90 days before I get a PIN and order?
You can get the pin at the same time you join. I did.

It's funny. I called the dealership where I have my order and wanted to confirm they'll accept the x-plan pricing. I mentioned that I have my PIN if they needed it right then, and the salesman said I would have to wait until my car comes in and then generate a new PIN at that time. He said the one I already generated wouldn't work even after I told him it doesn't expire for a year. Am I missing something or is this guy blowing smoke up my .....?
Tell him to get his ducks in a row or you should get a different sales person. The pin is good for a year, says it right on the print out

For those who joined MCA for X-Plan, how long did it take to receive membership card? I joined in November and still haven't received anything - left 2 emails and a voicemail for the MCA office but haven't heard back. Want to make sure I have it before April/May delivery (assuming no slippage in my order)

I don’t think you need the card to get your PIN from Ford. The PIN is what the dealer needs.

I joined mid November and I got my card about a month ago.

MCA PIN requires being a member for at least 90 days, presumably the card would prove that, but if not then that's better.

I joined mid November and I got my card about a month ago.
OK, so definitely something wrong - a friend also joined the same day as me and has not received his membership card either. Don't care to have the membership card as long as the PIN will work without it for me as others pointed out above.

I just took picture of my account which should show start date

Here is a new one for you.

Ordered a Premium AWD EXT Range April 2021. Converted to a 2022, was told by the dealer I had price protection from Ford on that amount.

I asked for confirmation on X Plan pricing recently (Dealer said they accepted in 2021, wanted to make sure I was squared away for eventual delivery of the car). Was told by my dealer that X-Plan only works on the Retail Price of the car, AKA the new increased price and would not apply to the price protection amount. Has anyone had to deal with this yet?

They said they were trying to confirm with Ford, but so far no luck.

Garbage. X-Plan is calculated off invoice, not retail. It is literally calculated off invoice. Google for the formula.

I had my dealer say the same thing. I won't get the 1k off from the price protection, just the xplan amount which for me is 700 and change plus the extra admin fees allowed. I'm contemplating just asking for the price protection and disregard the X-plan.

Your dealership is WRONG. Reference the letter that tells them how to get help from Corporate to do this correctly.
