Hi everyone, this thread is for those whose Ford NACS adapter is shipping after a few months. Are you going to wait for it to ship or have you placed order from A2Z or Lectron or any other brand?

I placed my order for the Lectron Adapter but not have any received updates on shipping. Did any of you start to receive the shipment from Lectron? Or any ETA?
Ordered a Lectron adapter Feb/29. They charged my card on Mar/2. Still waiting for shipping notice.

My A2Z is supposed to ship and arrive at the end of April. Ford is supposed to arrive in May, but I'm not super optimistic about the arrival date for either adapter. Just like @redgrandam , I'll keep both to have one as a backup should something happen.

I am hoping either adapter arrives before May as I have plenty of road tripping coming up.
I feel like majority have gone with A2Z and it looks like they're quick with their shipments and overall service compared to Lectron.

I ordered the Lectron on nov 2nd, emailed them last month. They said it should ship by end of march. Just got an email back yesterday saying they have started shipping (I know I saw on YouTube they were coming out) and they should have batches shipping every couple weeks.
I’m sure will we will have a lectron impressions thread on here once they are more widely available, I will post when I see a shipping confirmation.
For ford adapter I am ~#18000 and it says June so we will see who gets here first.
Yes please give it a try and post the review, while I still wait for mine.

I’m planning to enjoy empty EA chargers while you guys crowd the Tesla SC ?.

I have no trips coming up and free charger is scheduled for May. I’m more tempted to buy the Lectron L2 adapter to use with destination chargers (not in the biz of collecting / hoarding adapters).

Yeah it looks that way. A2Z was the first one to start shipping quite a while before Lectron. And the A2Z one is more compact.

The locks on the NACS also differ, but look like they could be a little fiddly in different ways so that’s a wash IMO. I had an A2Z adapter for my Tesla and it was well made.

I don’t have an immediate need for any DCFC, so I am waiting for the Ford-branded Tesla adapter. Like @Murse-In-Airy I am a frugal Poodle. ??

The adapter from Ford is Free, so I don't mind waiting for it. No need to drop $200 just to get one a bit faster and end up with a second adapter I don't need. Also, I've never actually needed to DCFC my Mach E, so its not like any adapter will be getting much use.

I might go a bit further too. I’ve owned two MME’s for over 3 years now without access to the Tesla Network. I don’t DCFC all that often. When I do it’s almost always EA. And most of the Tesla Superchargers on my routes have Magic Docks. So I am certainly in no rush. AND I’m cheap. ?‍♂

I have both Ford and A2Z on the way but one or both might be stuck under a bridge in shipping.

My Ford adapter ETA is May. If the timing slips beyond that, I may order A2Z or Lectron to ensure I have Supercharger access for June road trips.

I’m planning to enjoy empty EA chargers while you guys crowd the Tesla SC ?.
That’s the thing though, EA stations have gotten more crowded every single summer since I got my MME in 2021. It was absolutely bonkers at stations last summer between broken chargers and overwhelmed stations. We’ll see how summer 2024 goes.
