I ordered my A2Z adapter March 5 and received it on March 29. I’ve used it successfully twice though I had a difficult time engaging the manual latch the second time I charged. It has to be fully engaged to charge and I ended up switching stalls. It was easier to engage on the second plug I tried.

I’m glad I have it since I’m doing a road trip next week to a place where there aren’t other fast charging options.

Just waiting on the ford one. The only place I’ve road tripped before and probably the only trip I’ll make in the future is Kansas City to Cedar Rapids and there are no superchargers available along the 5 hour drive lol

I'm surprised with how many consider themselves cheap. The Mach-E is not a cheap car. Or did we spend all of our money on our Mach-E's? ??
I’m so cheap I’ve bought three Mach-E’s. ?
But it was because they made sense at that point and are long term expenditures that lead to an overall lower cost of driving. Same type of cheap that had me spending so much to get solar panels and electric heat pumps. The upfront cost is high, but the long game is an overall savings.
To those of us playing the long game, paying a premium due to a lack of patience seems complete madness. Especially when we’ve all adapted to getting by without. Sure the Tesla adapter will add some convenience. But not being willing to pay more for an extra few months of convenience is, I believe, the definition, of cheap. And apparently, I’m not alone in this.
Now the lime green wrap… that was pure indulgence. ?

I spent all of my saved up kibble on the MME. Now I have to kill stuff for dinner. ??

Bought my GT 10 days ago. Filled out the adapter form at the dealership and won't ship from Ford until September. I ordered both adapters from A2Z with the discount code and will be delivered next week.

I got my A2Z adapter yesterday - only a week late UPS - and gave it a go at one of the busier Tesla locations last evening. Other than waiting for the right stall to not take up 2 spaces, it was easy and seamless. Used P&C without a hitch at all. It's a good product and helps relieve range anxiety with the additional Tesla network being available.

I'll be using mine (A2ZEV) tomorrow for the first time after I get down to Fresno. Looking forward to a faster charge session than I'm used to charging at the EA chargers down there.

I have both Mach E GTPE and Rivian R1T.
Ford is months out yet before I'll get it. Rivian is shipping by Vin# mine is under 200 so will be first shipment (?) but has not started yet. Ordered Lectron March 1, constant updates of we are shipping soon, You are prioritized, yada, yada, yada. Ordered A2Z based on Lectron response. Told 2 weeks.
So... will see who comes in first and who will get canceled. I expect we will keep one of the $ adapters to start. Which ever comes in first. Then Rivian should be April arrival. As I am told. Then will have 1 for each. Once the Ford arrives probably will keep the $ as back up.

Is anyone planning on selling their Ford adapter and keeping their third party adapter?

Ford plans to sell theirs for $230 based on what I see online and A2Z has it for $167 after using the 15% off "FORD" code.

I would be tempted to buy a Ford adapter if someone is planning on selling that and keeping the third party.

I figure there's going to be a healthy market for adapters once the Tesla Supercharger network adds a few more auto makers to the approved list. So there should be a sizeable market for 3rd party adapters. The only time I need it is for roadtrips. Vegas is probably the worst city in terms of availability for non-Tesla fast charging infrastructure. So having an adapter ready for use ASAP is more imporant to me as I have a few trips scheduled. On a side note I'm surprised how many people were unaware that Ford was making an adapter available. I spoke to 3 other Mach E owners the last time I was in Vegas and they had no clue. This was about 2 weeks after you were able to order the adapter.

I have three Ford EVs (two MMEs and a Lightning), so have three free adapters on order. But they won’t be delivered until August.

We travel a lot and fast-charge frequently. I’ve got an A2Z adapter on order so we can use the Supercharger network in the meantime. When we owned a Tesla, we found Superchargers remarkably reliable compared to EA and others…

Most of the time, we charge at home using our solar array. But when on the road, it’s a game-changer to be able to use the Supercharger network.

I ordered Lectron and A2Z.

A2Z showed up quickest at 3 weeks after ordering.

Love A2Z - works flawlessly - cheapest was in Fresno, CA when I used a SC there. @markboris
Fixed $0.43/kWh all day for non member rate !

Signed up for Tesla membership since I will be road tripping a lot in the next 2 months.

Keeping both Ford and A2Z.
Returning the Lectron if it ever shows up...

Dumping EA & EVGo now that Tesla does not make me wait for an available charger or fighting off the freebie charge sessions all EV manufacturers have created.

Hi everyone, this thread is for those whose Ford NACS adapter is shipping after a few months. Are you going to wait for it to ship or have you placed order from A2Z or Lectron or any other brand?

I placed my order for the Lectron Adapter but not have any received updates on shipping. Did any of you start to receive the shipment from Lectron? Or any ETA?
I put down for the Lectron after I saw my Ford queue at 33,000 and August (I was in Asia and asleep when the initial word went out!).

I went Lectron because it's a brand I heard of. I'm also not SUPER time sensitive as I don't road trip ~ just that August is late! If I was ordering today I'd probably go A2Z because there are good reports.

I got the same Lectron email already reported here that they are "working on it" and "shipping hundreds every day" and "stay tuned". I should probably set a mental "cancel date"....

Thanks Pat and I’ll actually be charging at the one below tomorrow. I find the chargers in Madera are always less crowded than ones in Fresno. Since I don’t use DCFC more than 2-3 times a month, I won’t be subscribing to Tesla’s charging membership plan.

I've got the A2Z ordered (ordered March 11, so should be shipping soon). Ford adapter is shipping in May for me. I'll keep both just to have a spare.
Good to know I should have my A2Z in a month, I hope. Road trip coming for Memorial Day.
