I updated my original post to include links ... I should have done that to begin with, but I was inspired by @Garbone - Thanks Gary!

Only accessory I feel is truly a Necessity, is the little rubber protector to keep your charger door from opening too far and denting your fender. Other than that all my accessories are pretty much cosmetic.

Not sure if it counts as accessory. One thing that is a must have to me is Ceramic coating. All of my cars have it. I buy consumer grade and do it myself. I use CQuartz UK, Very easy to apply. It protects the surface and makes the car wash a lot easier. I apply it once a year. For new cars I just apply the coating. For old cars I paint correct before applying. It really makes a difference down the road.

I'm taking delivery of my MME in about a month (!) and I'm putting together my "to do" list of things to take care of, before and after delivery (insurance, finance pre-approval). As for the car itself, I plan on getting in short order - a sun shave for the front window, a sun shade for the glass roof, and very likely a portable 12v battery charger. I'll look into storage tray accessories, etc on down the road as I get to know my MME and my needs.

Any other essentials that should be on my radar?

Although you have your financing in order, they will attempt to sell you the Ford Premium Care Extended Warranty. There are a myriad of options (years, mile, deductible) so if it you think you might want it, know which plan you want and then get a quote from Granger Ford or another dealer that sells them online for $50 over cost. Then see if your dealer will match. One good thing about buying from the dealer is you can roll the cost into your loan. Our dealer was offering $200 over cost and not full retail.
Similarly research the Triple Care option of dent, wheels and windshield coverage - if that's something you might want.

I've been all over the forum since I placed my order last December :). I have X-Plan lined up and low interest (relatively speaking) financing lined up with my credit union. Dealership has been straightforward with me on pricing and will honor price protection, from the time I ordered.
Rates are better than ford at your CU? What were the rates when you placed your order with ford?

Do you have a link for this one? Hadn’t heard of this yet

TBH, I didn't discuss Fort Options or rates at the time of my order last December. It wasn't on my radar at the time and the sales specialist didn't discuss it.

I'm working with a different sales associate (the original has since left the dealership), and he advised me that current Ford Credit rates are in the 3.9% range. My credit union's rates, as of June 1, are as low as 2.24% for 36 months (I should qualify for that). I'm not going to initiate a loan request yet because it's only valid for 30 days. Delivery date is ~Aug 20, so. my window is getting closer.

Thanks for this heads up. I've been looking at https://www.floodfordesp.com for a plan I'm comfortable with. It's my understanding that it doesn't have to be a purchase day decision. If I'm incorrect, then please, anyone advise me so.

Yes, this! I plan on a ceramic coating, especially since my MME will be primarily outdoors. Anything to help protect the color/coat above and beyond the factory job.

never hurts to have your own tow strap and know where to hook it so you can give, or get, a rescue.... especially if you are a skiier, or get out into the mountains where tow trucks are a long way off.
Dan, do you by any chance have a link to the tow strap and hooks you have?
