Active Shutter Vents Stay Open While Parked?

*Edit- I just remote started my car, not plugged in. I could hear the Auto climate fans spool up, and the Active Shutters immediately opened! Display screen said 41*C OAT.

Wait till you learn the grill vents above it aren’t real

Fellow mainlander here, I have noticed this when the weather is hot and the cooling system needs air from outside to aid with the cooling.

Any update on this. Not plugged in and car been off for 4 days. Went to garage and vents are open. Fist I’ve seen them open. Turned accessory on in car the. Off but still open. 45-65 degrees lately.

They might be broken in the open position. They should fully close when the car is fully off and unplugged.

So the vents are not broken. Turn car on they close. This started after the recall or the 3.5.5 update.

You park the car with vents closed they open within a few mins of turning off. Humm wonder if it was a glitch in the software.

Yeah that's abnormal, I've never observed that before, mine are always closed when off. Only time they open when parked is while charging or remote start/preconditioning active.
