A few months ago, I put an open EVSE control board in my juice box charger. I want to change the charging speed, but I can’t remember the process. I thought I was supposed to find it on my iPhone wi-Fi settings, but it doesn’t come up. I tried to Google this, but didn’t find the answer. I see starting in 2025 ford let you adjust the charging speed in the vehicle, but I have a 2021. Thanks ford.
I also emailed open EVSE, but they were not helpful.

Did you set it up so it connects to your WiFi? If so, then you just need to type in the IP address of it into your browser, such as 192.168.1.6 or whatever it actually is. If it’s not working unplug the EVSE and plug it back in to reboot it. I believe it shows the IP address on the display once it connects.

Once you’re in, you can put it in manual mode and then adjust the slider for the desired charge rate.

Your OpenEVSE charger is accessed via a local ip address. For example, mine is 10.0.0.76. Here is the process:

https://openevse.stoplight.io/docs/openevse-wifi-v4/3e38d9ead39fc-user-guide#wifi-setup

Once setup, you can go into the settings and change the charging speed.

There is no screen since the board is installed in a Juicebox.

I have a ticket open with OpenEVSE, but their responses come several hours after the question and have been unhelpful. I wish I just bought a new charger. I would not recommend this control board anymore.

When it appears on my WiFi, it comes up as “SSID:eek:penevse-[chipID]”. It’s supposed to say “OpenEVSE_XXXX”. When I type in the password which is supposed to be openevse, it says it’s wrong. I also typed in the OpenEVSE_XXXX to search it but the password didn’t work there either.

When you set it up months ago, it should now simply be an ip address.... No password unless you set one.

Most router software would display the ip address.
