How hard is for ford to make the charge rate “easily and readily available”? On my most recent Tesla charging adventure I was baffled as to why neither the app or the car show the charge rate. In EA stations at least there’s a screen with the info. To my surprise the Apple Watch out of all things does show the charge rate.

Both the Tesla app and Ford Pass on the energy screen should be showing you charge rate.
Couldn’t find anywhere. Maybe it’s a bug

It’s really easy to find, at least on the iPhone version. Open FordPass. There are 3 options at the bottom of the screen - Vehicle, Energy, Service. Tap “Energy.” You will see the charge rate on that screen that comes up.

Yep, just charged at a Tesla station a few days ago while coming back from the Wisconsin Dells.

On a side note. I really love having most of the Tesla charging network available. It's a game changer for away from home charging.

I use android and both Tesla app and Ford app (on energy page) show charge rate
usually starts at @ 150, then slowly dwindles down to 80 as it gets close to 80%, then at 80% drops off to about 40

Ok well it must have been a one of thing cus it didn’t show it under energy in the app. I’ll try again.

There’s a bit of a lag sometimes. I’ve noticed that when home charging. Maybe you just looked at it too fast ?‍♂

Definitely a huge plus however the cable length limitations is something to consider especially when traveling on the weekends when Tesla station are full. I couldn’t find any way to charge without taking 2 spots

Yeah it definitely depends on location. I was at a Woodmans grocery store in Joliet Illinois heading south toward Peoria so most of the stalls were empty. I snagged the last one in line so I didn't take up an extra space.

This was the first time I had to snug up against the curb to make the cable reach and to be honest.....yeah it made me a little nervous. I was using the front camera but I still asked my wife to hop out and guide me in. ?

I try to avoid taking up 2 spots if I can avoid it. Luckily for me the majority of my long roadtrips either have a Tesla Supercharger that has over 60 stalls or have ones designed for use with a trailer so you can just pull through (sometimes there's a wait to use those)

Interesting. Haven’t those yet. I tried pulling to one at the end but stil wouldn’t reach. This is in Santa Monica maybe on bigger lots in other cities there will be more room.

FordPass does show your charge rate on the energy tab. EA shows it (on iphones at least) in the app when you begin charging and on the lock screen. EVgo does as well. Have not received my Tesla adapter yet but I am sure it will show in FordPass at least.

There's 2 pull through chargers over at the Morongo Travel center just before Palm Springs. I've only stopped there once as my preferred non-Tesla charger was full that day.
